I play down at Hawthorn and I couldn't see anyone beaten Sam Gold, big tremmers would still poll well I imagine. Would be surprised if Jason Ince gets in the top 10

Canterbury vs Manningham (28) <big game for Manningham>
Dragons vs Chadstone (22)

Canterbury vs Manningham (38)
Dragons vs Chadstone (35)
Hawthorne vs Westbourne (8)
Point Cook vs West Brunswick (249)

I take it Taysr, you are no fan of Point Cook, your margins seem quite steep?

My Tips

North Brunswick vs Box Hill North (23)
Canterbury vs Manningham (8)
Dragons vs Chadstone (14)
Hawthorn vs Westbourne (28)
Point Cook vs West Brunswick (23)

Reserves
North Brunswick vs Box Hill North (35)

Not sure can state final locked in just quite yet, maybe after this week.

But...............if

Canterbury beat Manningham
Hawthorn beat Westbourne (or Westbourne beat Hawthorn, doesn't matter for sake of this exercise)
Box Hill North beat North Brunswick
&
Point Cook beat West Brunswick

will have 4 sides with 4 points of each other (4th through to 7th)

If however Manningham win and Westbourne lose, will be 8 points between 4th and 5th.

Massive for Manningham this weekend - Massive

You got real close with your point cook predictions........

Way off the mark! haha valiant effort from point cook's seniors, really thought after the closer game to Chadstone that West Brunswick would have handed them a hiding but it wasn't the case.

I guess mathematically the seniors 4th spot is still open but you'd think it's practically wrapped up now with Manningham winning over Canterbury.

The Reserves ladder is on fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great win for the Cobras. Could still come out on same points as Westbourne, but % is far too high.

Four looks settled.

Anyone heard any rumours on a venue for finals this year? Hopefully we find out with a little more notice than the 3 days we got last year haha

What is going on with Box Hill North in the 2s? Are they loading up their 2s with 1s players in the hope of making finals? Their results seem a lot different to earlier in the year..

Or maybe their results are due to the fact they have Hawthorn & WB in the next 2 weeks, that will really give us an idea of where they are at

I can assure you there is no stacking going on ... results have been consistent all year in the 2's.

Record Rounds 1-8 - 4 wins, 4 losses

Record Rounds 9-15 - 4 wins, 3 losses

Can back up Ruck Machines comments

Their last four results are as follows:

Thumped by Westbourne
Thumped the Dragons
Lost a narrow one to Manningham
And thumped an undermanned North Brunswick last week

They did have a couple of handy types running around in the twos last weekend though!!

Seniors

Canterbury v Hawthorn (42 points)
BHN v West Brunswick (26 points)
Chadstone v North Brunswick (74 Points)
Manningham v Point Cook (34 points)
Westbourne v Dragons (94 points)

If Manningham win then the door is officially shut, great result for them last week, and the somewhat stuttering form of West Brunswick of late has opened up the battle for second this year. What odds the market no Hawks? Magpies slightly ahead but gap closing fast.

Reserves

Canterbury v Hawthorn (75 points)
BHN v West Brunswick (75 points)
Chadstone v North Brunswick (23 points, you heard it first here)
Manningham v Point Cook (50 points)
Westbourne v Dragons (95 points)

Looks like if Manningham win could be about safe & Westbourne will make it difficult for other two if win as win as well. As hard to see either of Canterbury or BHN upsetting either of the Hawks or Magpies.

Looks like Division 3 or 4 might be welcoming a new team next year - http://bit.ly/1B4Thap
Makes for an interesting 2015!!

With Banyule leaving Premier C, that effectively means 3 teams going up from D2 and only 1 coming down (Banyule being relegated from C to D1 anyway) and with South Mornington whispers seeing them going to Clubbies or Out of the VAFA all together, what does this mean filtering down?? The way i see it, this years Top 3, possibly 4 teams could all get a birth in D3 next year and D4 would welcome Parkside and possibly Masala and Mt. Lilydale (again)!!!

Whichever way it goes, i just hope the VAFA do the right thing at leave the number of teams even so we avoid the bye!

Got to love a whisper!!!

So depending on promotion/relegation (leaving finals sides out)
Westbourne
Point Cook
Box Hill North
North Brunswick
Dragons
Chadstone
(plus two finalist who don't go up)
(one to come down)
Possibles:
Wyndham Suns
Parkside (NFL)
Masala
Mt.Lilydale

Could be a 12/13 team competition....... Do we play extra rounds or have uneven draw where some sides will benefit from playing the weaker sides twice?

Final 6 would be a certainty, considering it was final 6 when there was 11 sides.

Div 2 - Region 2 (11 teams)

Could be major mismatches for 1 or 2 seasons but I think long term it'll sort itself out.

Regional clubs need all the help they can get recruiting and short trips to away games would be a nice draw card.

Alternatively leave D4 as is and have Regional D2/D3.
