Speaking to few members at other clubs in and out of vafa and common theme is players not playing or only playing half season cos they want to go overseas. Cant blame the kids after years of restrictions etcIf Masalla add just a few more they perhaps will be right at it come pointy end.

How are AP looking this season?Happened last year as well. Happens every year.
BHN have gained a few and lost a couple of players. Hopefully a pretty even comp.I think most likely it will be last season of D4 so agree on that....
Unsure of how teams have recruited but my top is BHN this season as early guess
How are AP looking this season?
Lots plenty is what I heardWill be there abouts if everyone stays fit and healthy. Think it will be a pretty even comp, even if north Brunswick have lost a few think they will be the bench mark winning 5 games in d3 last year.
Hearing AP are the team to beat this seasonHope they do
Hearing that st johns are struggling for numbers so close to the season starting. 28 total at an intra club on SaturdayiDon Nice little preview of some new recruits via the Vafa website. Expecting to go close this year?

My attempt at predicting the D4 ladder. I have taken into account clearances, last years positions and gut feeling too
Eley Park
St Johns
Box Hill North
North Brunswick
Masala
Albert Park
To be hones I think it will be a very even competition this year. Lots of unknown but it seems Eley Park and Box Hill North have done very well in recruiting. Albert Park are hard to predict, if Lee brothers are playing they will always be competitive. St Johns seem to have lost a few? Masala very quiet and NB lost a few but gained a few.
Seems a bit silly to have a 6 team competition personally see it as a off year for D4 but lets hope the evenness balance out lack of teams
Name namesMm which spicy club signed a decorated 300 gamer to an assistant coaching role only to have him look for a transfer 2 weeks out from the season starting?
David Verlado by the looks of it.Name names
Very sad indeed, wishing them all the best for next yearNot strictly D4 (or D3) anymore but still sad to see a club struggling for numbers
Would he be eligible to play Ammo’s?? I thought there was some rule in place that if you have earnt so much money over your football career then you couldn’t go back and play in the Ammo’s.Verlado played supers for Cranbourne last year. Supers kicking off this week, so nothing in it I would suspect.

I know in his time at Oakleigh, Mt Eliza and Heatherton (to name a few) he was well looked after $$
