Geelong have a deserved level of arrogance about them. Assuming we don't make the GF, Id like the Dogs to win, next most likely North. Wouldnt mind Swans, Lions or Cats getting up. DONT want Crows to win, and definately not Hawthorn or Collingwood

to be fair, it is well and truely a case of geelong vs the rest at the moment. i think their arrogance is probably warrented. how arrogent were essendon and their supporters in 2000? and i think geelongs current domination is now a fair bit more convincing than theirs was... but thats just IMO

Geelong are confident because they don't drop the ball.
It is possible to beat them with height. See Sandilands in career best form in their first time clash at Subiaco rip them to bits.
Once Hawks get Renouf, Bailey and Dawson developing the Cats could be in trouble.

Nah not really. They play good football and their players don't act like tossers on the field either. Their supporters aren't overly bad, you get some but that'll be the case everytime (especially on Bay13).
They certainly don't hold a candle to West Coast supporters, they were unbearable after their 1 point win and Kerr and Cousins were tossers on the field as well. Dynasty - lol still makes me laugh

Nothing like a good old BigFooty generalisation when a handful of posters looking for a bite suddenly represent the entire supporter base.
Hope that HAWTHORN fall in a heap and go out in straight sets, never have i seen such arrogance from supporters, they are already claiming they will win the GF and its theres, , but there is a long long way to go HAWKS , anything can happen

I actually really like the team and enjoy watching them play but some of the supporters on here are a bit too much.
I guess any team that wins a premiership is going to have it's fair share of arrogant posters for a while.

Exactly! Supporters of any team who are succesful can be labelled arrogant. In some cases it may be true but overall I think people purposly label confidence & pride in their teams achievements as arrogance because it somehow makes them feel better about their own teams shortcommings. Geelong supporters have every right to spruik their sides achievements & be confident of more to come, even if it doesn't eventuate. The arrogance I can't understand is from supporters of clubs who haven't actually achieved anything to be arrogant about.
Personally I love watching the cats play & would have no problems seeing them go back to back. Plus with 1 of my favourite Bombers steering the ship I take some joy in seeing him succesful. Like many I have a little soft spot for the Bullies & would enjoy seeing them win it but I have doubts about that eventuating. Apart from that who else could I possible want to win it (apart from my own team). Hawthorn supporters are FAR more arrogant than cats fans (back to my point about misplaced arrogance), I hate Collingwood & dispise watching Sydney play.

Well said. Geelong are the best team, and if they go back to back, will thoroughly deserve it. If you really love football, how can you not enjoy watching them when they are at their best?
