Thanks for that clarification - the brighter amongst us may have deduced from my question "They're the same are they" that I was implying the two acts were so far removed in severity that your little idiom was completely irrelevant.The saying pot calling the kettle black does not mean two things are the same. It refers to someone accusing another of what they themselves are guilty of. So if you call my point of view biased I am saying you're likely to also be biased. Rance clearly pins Buddy down with an arm across his throat. The rest is an understandable reaction to that. Rance has a history of starting things then exaggerating the effect of the natural response. The umpire should have punished the instigator. End of story.
Why are Tigers such a whiney lot ? The players whine, the fans whine, even the coach whines.
I am always amused too with posters that like to insert the old "End of story" after they state their view as if 'the oracle has spoken - this matter is now closed ..' Perhaps search the phrase (I guess it would be now) 'Buddy cleared by the MRP' if you want to see a real history of events.
