She's no Alex Pendulbury.
And I think poor Marc may be keeping Melbournes plastic surgeons in European holidays.

P.S. Wayne can, and has, done better.

i think the funds should go to the wife.... she might need upgrading to version 2..

I'm not comfortable with the stuff going on about Murphy and his wife. Don't think its at all funny. And pathetic by St Kilda, a club that has poor form in this regard.

Is the search function playing up for anyone else? Mine only shows results for 3-4 days back and then it jumps to years ago with nothing in between.

Yeah, there's a problem, and BF Admin is trying to fix it.

Seen them both at the races.
He's not that big actually, didn't look super strong.
She may be a nice person, but not my type, just a bit not sure what, but pass for me.
Wish them well ofcourse

was trying to work out what the joke was having never in my life heard of a fidget spinner, thought it might be some new Aussie slang. Checked out you tube and discovered that such things do exist.
Turns out the post was a serious one.

I have banned the bloody things in my classroom.

well most of the footballers are young men and there's a long history of these sorts of exchanges between young men right across society....

but i suppose we are going to once again pick this group of young men to compensate for all the sins of the other young men in society... they have a heavy burden..

btw i cannot believe the consumption of fake news and general crap that flips around on the internet. There's thousands of people out there who would swear that carey is sleeping with the wife and they probably think they can predict the best 22 for round 1 2018 too....

we may as well swap over to eAFL totally and let everyone veg out on the couch....

i agree. she's not my type either. i tend to date unattractive women

Rule #1 of being sledged... don't react, cos then the pr%$ks know they have you sucked in...
Rule #2 of being sledged... if it's happening then the pr&%ks are clearly worried about you... let them..

Gee reading some of the comments on the board, think that some posters need to take a break and enjoy a cup of tea.

I can only handle five at a time but bring your own bikkies.

Who is cracking the shits? I am laughing at most of the posters melting, it is not even game time yet, anything can happen and this is coming from a big Scharenberg fan. I just can't see the point of how some posters are carrying on, including you!

Two Aussie sides on list of 16 greatest sports teams in history

IT seems like an impossible task.

Trawling through an immeasurable number of teams to determine which sides, from any sport on the globe, deserve to be named among the 16 best outfits the world has ever seen

COLLINGWOOD (1927-1930)

The dominant Collingwood AFL team of 1927-1930 gets a gig in Walker’s top 16 because of its iconic coach Jock McHale and inspirational captain Syd Coventry.

Under their leadership, the Pies won four flags in four years. They won 88 per cent of their matches and outscored teams by an average of 33 points per game in this stretch, even managing to go 18-0 in 1929.

Walker has legendary NFL mentor Vince Lombardi at the top of the pile when it comes to coaches, and he says McHale was clearly a “special, Lombardi-level coach”.

Walker says the environment McHale created where nobody was above the team, and his undying loyalty to the club, was integral to Collingwood’s success.

“McHale, like Lombardi, was considered a master motivator with some unusual, even radical, ideas about how to make sure a team played as one. The first was disdain for individual heroes,” Walker says.

“McHale enforced this ideology, just as Lombardi did, by exercising a level of control that would be impossible today. He insisted that every member of his team, no matter how talented, be paid the same wage.

“On two occasions during the Great Depression, when Collingwood cut the players’ salaries, McHale insisted on taking the same percentage hit. Other teams in the league would have paid him handsomely to defect, but his loyalty to Collingwood ran too deep.

“McHale was innovative as well, widely credited with inventing a position known as the ruck rover and for teaching his players to work at a faster tempo and improvise.

“His combination of brilliance and steadfast commitment to the team engendered enormous respect and made McHale a legend in Australia.”

Then there was Coventry, who McHale appointed captain before the 1927 season. Walker says the skipper carried out McHale’s ethos on the field by doing the dirty work that wouldn’t make the highlights reel, but would give his team a boost when it was most needed.

“Coventry was the epitome of McHale’s ethos,” Walker writes. “McHale had created the ‘all for one’ atmosphere in the club, but Coventry was the one who enforced it.

“One of the hallmarks of his play, according to a history of the team, was ‘the ability to lift the Magpies when they were in trouble.’

“On two occasions, when Collingwood cut the players’ wages and his teammates were on the verge of walking out in protest, it was Coventry who talked them out of it. Without him, his team would never have made it to Tier One.”

Did you misplace your sewing kit Maggie?

Does anyone else have an issue with the ads on the bottom of the screen? Currently there is one about a woman being beaten to death. Is there anyway to get rid of this without paying to use BigFooty?

The popup adds on the tablet are diabolical. Not so much for their content but rather the inability to actually hit the x and close them. One in particular always takes you to the add irrespective of intent. Nice earner for BF I guess.

Never pay too much attention to them when I'm on a desktop or my phone.
