I've just seen the James Manson of tenpin bowling!! There's a guy called Anthony Simonsen and he fair dinkum almost lets the ball go with 2 hands. Amazing!! Didn't think it could be possible. Almost contorts himself.

Actually reminds me back in the 80s when they used to show the Coca Cola classic I believe before the cricket or during the lunch break

Anyone got any idea why when I now use Chrome and reply to apost, I have no access to anything in the horizontal task bar, but such is not the case in Firefox?!
Can’t say.
But chrome was hacked a couple of weeks ago so update it to make sure you have the best security defences.

LOL at Ross Lyings BS.

" Lyon has been speculated to be in line for a return to the AFL landscape in a coaching capacity after opting out of a candidacy for both the recently vacant Collingwood and Carlton senior coaching positions.

Lyon basically spent an entire week hitting Footy TV begging to be considered by the Pies and carton.
Both left him hanging like a stale fart in the wind.
With spin like that Ross should be applying for work with Scomo.

Not relevant to Collingwood or many of us, but I just realised In Essendon's GF wins in both 65 and 84, they kicked 14.21.105 in both games. Nice bit of statistical symmetry.

It’s a disgusting statistic.

Three times this has occurred. Collingwood scored 11.12 (78) in 1919 and 1935 Grand Final wins, while Melbourne managed 8.16 (64) in 1955 and 1964 wins.

In winning Grand Finals Collingwood have scored 89 points twice (1936, 1990), Carlton 103 points (1945, 1982), Richmond 128 points (1934, 1974) and 114 points (1967, 2019.) None of those scores were exact duplicates, however.

Thanks Daics, very interesting! Esse were the only ones to have the same scores in successive premiership wins then (and it took their 9.6 in the last quarter of 84 to get to that). I actually noticed this last night on Fox when they had shows on Coleman and Reynolds and had highlights of their 65 GF win.

How many times have GWS scored 3.7 (25) in Grand Finals

2 Handed bowling is normal. Jason Belmonte is the worlds best and bowls two handed and is from Orange in NSW.

Not that I'm an avid watcher but I found that amazing having flicked over. More common than I thought it seems.

Quite common these days. The young kid in my team bowls two handed. He looks like a frog in a blender when he does it though.
Well that 10 pin bowler did remind me of Adams(?) from South Africa who was referred to that also.
