Same, my young bloke is still talking about it.
I get this and love it, that’s awesome. One of the main reasons I thought getting Reid would be so important for us as a club is his marketability and a number all the kids would have on their back.

I stand by we would have been better if not winning that game, that’s just my position don’t have to agree.

Having pick 1 and 2 for McKay would of seen us be able to take Reid and Curtain then with the compo 14 and 19 to come.

Gives us the best chance to get our club back up there and relevant again.

Anyway that horse has bolted.

Had some Demon goose trying to tell me on the MB how they had only ever had 1 PP.

Pointed out all 3 they had received and he disappeared
What the hell were you doing on the main board. You know it is a cess pit of opposition supporters, most of whom are brainless semi-morons but you went there. Why?????

So it is being announced tomorrow? I checked last year and it was announced on the Monday of GF week.
Would make sense to get it out the way with tomorrow before the Brownlow and the rest of GF week.

Knowing that the AFL make decisions to influence whatever outcome they want, and knowing we have just lost Magoo, we should certainly be letting the AFL know that a mid first priority pick would get us O’Sullivan and stop us losing by 10 goals every week.

The acurate one was right in quoting Monty Python:

I mean, what do you have to lose?
You come from nothing,
You go back to nothing.
What have you lost? Nothing!

Whatever happens tomorrow we move, onward, forward.

They have the meeting on the Monday with the club presidents, if they don't announce it then it will get leaked to the media. Clubs have the integrity of a primary school playground when it comes to running to the media with information, even if it is confidential.

do we have a view that Kane won’t want to look like she is assisting her old side too favourably, and absolutely shaft us?

If she can't do her job or she thinks that she is biased she can ask for someone else to handle it, she is a lawyer, she would be familiar with the concept of recusing.

What should happen

Isn’t always what does happen

But 11 wins in 4 years a modern day unprecedented low should be at least a start of first round priority pick

With the AFL’s secret squirrel recipe l hope to be saluting a decent package….

either way if it’s announced tomorrow great arvo ahead …….just give us what we dam well deserve not based on some muppet jornos whims crafted from moans of opposition clubs…

The sooner this is finished, and people move on from the entire discussion around draft assistance will be what I am looking forward to the most.

I'd prefer to focus on Brayden George and most likely 2 other very high end draft picks we will start getting games into next year - 2024 is already looking like a very strong talent injection.

There’s a big push away from those high PPs and if a second rounder was the best we could get last year I can’t see us getting anything higher this year.

I’m stuck on that comment ages ago about creative ways. Reckon it’ll be an extension of the rookie spots, something to do with sanders and maybe #19.
