The jungle drums are beating that if De Goey is available at 10 then we'll select him.

Collingwood would be silly to overlook Wright.
They have no promising key fowards besides Moore.
They could set up their key big men stocks for the next 10 years in two picks

Never. That's why it's the rumours thread and not the fact thread. When has anyone ever been able to reliably foresee Wells picks?
That's an unusual form of language you've got going at the cattery. Secret to success, perhaps? The jungle drums are beating that if De Goey is available at 10 then we'll select him.
Yeah it seems as though De Goey is one of those guys that is rated higher by recruiters than alot of us here on bigfooty. I must admit I was a bit surprised when I first heard the news that he was likely to go in the top 10 or so.That's an unusual form of language you've got going at the cattery. If de goey doesn't go at 10, he is quite likely to go at 11. West coast are very keen on him also.
If we took him, the meltdown on our board would be epic, especially if we turned down cockatoo to get him.Yeah it seems as though De Goey is one of those guys that is rated higher by recruiters than alot of us here on bigfooty. I'd definitely be taking him before Cockatoo that's for sure. Cockatoo is very high risk I would have thought and whilst personally I think that there might be better options at 10 or 11 De Goey looks to be a solid choice who you know won't let you down both physically and from a character point of view.If we took him, the meltdown on our board would be epic, especially if we turned down cockatoo to get him.
I like him, personally. He wouldn't be the guy you choose top 5 IMO, but that pick 10/11 is probably about right. A few concerns about level of production to date, but a lot to work with.
Isn't it Langford now?Levarde to Collingwood at Pick 5, seems to be Majority what People think will Happen
It's been about 10 players mate! Might be a couple more by Thursday.Isn't it Langford now?
Do you have a list of all the invitees by any chance mate?Langford and durdin just got a late invite to the offical draft..
Collingwood will take Langford

They usually invite 12-15 potential draftees. Is it only the top 10 that go?
Petracca, McCartin, Brayshaw, Pickett, Laverde, De Goey, Ahern, Langford, Lever, Durdin, Goddard, Marchbank, Wright, Weller, Duggan (and presumably Moore). They're just covering all their bases.Do you have a list of all the invitees by any chance mate?

I like how they prefaced their Marchbank selection with "Carlton want a midfielder" and proceed to give us defender.According to Sam Cheeseburger at the HS, Carlton are huge fans of Marchbank and "couldn't call his name fast enough" if he makes it through to their pick and they reckon Essendon have done a heap of work over in Perth on Garlett. They reckon their mail is that Garlett will "definitely be gone" by Carlton's pick 19.
Haha that's exactly what I was thinking. Who really knows what the hell it means. It throws up more questions than answers I would have thought. My guess is that some of those clubs towards the back end of the top 10 haven't made up their mind yet and the AFL are just trying to cover all of their bases.Thanks. I suppose that a late invite means either they are covering their bases or that they have been informed that those 2 players are indeed now to be picked in the top 10. Hard to read too much into it or you can read a lot into it!

Don't think so. Only other team I see taking him are GWS and they are looking at Goddard so I don't see it.Is Durdin a late riser? (in the draft not in the morning for the smart arses out there!)
