After a fast midfielder would it be best available? I've already secured a mid with elite pace in the BigFooty phantom draft in Lewis Taylor.

Rahul - Excellent choice but we do need more than one quick midfielder. So for your next pick look for a 185cm inside mid with standard speed. Someone in the vain of Luke Parker or Ben Cunnington

Jay Kennedy-Harris, another fast midfielder (although more outside) taken with the second pick in the BigFooty Phantom Draft. After those 2 surely there are more needs? Perhaps a key back/forward or utility?

We're pretty settled with Talls and defenders. Maybe a half forward that can rotate into the middle like Bruest.

Yep, that's Kennedy-Harris for you. I guess I'll go best available from here.

I understand best available but still with an eye on a player type. Both Taylor and Kennedy-Harris are quick but tiny. Try and add a Back Pocket/HBF that is designed to play on Taylor and Kennedy-Harris types. Guerra is a example. Not a rangy HBF like Birchall or Enright.

Marcus Bontempelli is the one we must get, unfortunately I think he will end up going in the top 10.

I believe he is the cousin of Nick Dal Santo, 191 cm bottom age player who moves and kicks like Pendlebury (quicker though), very raw still with huge upside but was the clear stand out in the game last Wednesday for me. Last 2 stand outs I have seen at that level have been Stephen Hill and Dustin Martin.

Playing for his school team Marcellin College he had a 50 possesion 10 goal game.

What I want in the draft this year is a player who one is 6 foot 6, can play in the ruck, back line or forward line. Ideally he'd be able to win his own ball, be a great team player, a fantastic decision maker, kicker and finisher and as tough as a cats head. Hopefully this player has plenty of outside run too.

Watch the video I posted, Bontempelli is close to what you have describe however he is only 6 foot 3 and doesn't play in the ruck.

Jake Carlisle if available.

For me he's in the Dale Thomas/hell no category. A good player, but too much baggage.

Are you saying Dale Thomas has the same kind of baggage as Martin? Not sure about that . . . is ongoing ankle issues away from being a must have on our list as far as I am concerned! But yeah Martin has some issues and I am not sure if I want them at Hawthorn.

James Sellar or Tom Gillies would be good KPD depth, and David Rodan could mentor the likes of Anderson and Hill. Also Brian Royal would be a great assistant if we were to lose Adam Simpson.

I reckon I could I should send my CV to HFC for a football operations manager's gig.
I wonder how many fish you'll catch?
