Society/Culture Drag Queen Story Time Cancellations

You keep avoiding the issue I raise about their obsession with under 5’s

🤣🤣🤣I literally just said said I’m fine with that !
Ha
Now can you answer me why they have an obsession with young children ?

As mentioned previously, it’s clergy that are obsessed with young children. You keep confusing them with drag queens for some reason.

You have been sucked in by some weird conservative culture war imported from the US Bible Belt.

I think a valid point missing from a lot of discussion about this is this was a council that cancelled the event. People should be allowed to question where council use the rates they pay. Councils waste an unbelievable amount of money and rate payers should be able to have a say where the money is going.

From what I have seen generally they do read books about gender eg: my colour is purple as an example. As a parent of a 3 and 5 year not books that I would read to my kids. So much stuff as a parent to worry about I am not going start worrying about gender issues. Just let kids be kids.

lol. So angry (sorry I said I wasn't going to do that).

😂😂😂😂
What a word salad of garbage
Its actually super clear, you just disagree with it. Vehemently.

No
I don’t think children would be engaged with an adult cabaret act
I don't care what you think they would be engaged by.

Lets see if we can finally get a straight answer - would you have an issue with drag performers doing a cabaret show created for kids?

Like.. the answer is clearly yes mate. Its ok, you can say it.

And not once have I used the word “gay”
I know. As your opinion is clearly that kids shouldn't be exposed to drag queens whatever the context, I'm asking if there is anything else in the LGBTQ sphere you think they shouldn't be exposed to.

Again, a straight answer here would be great.

So a multitude of references to derogatory females stereotyping you ignore, but conjure up a comment I’ve never referred to

I suggest you go back, read what I’ve written and get back to me tomorrow
Yes, you've also made comments about female stereotypes, which I've acknowledged. Humblest apologies once again.

I started replying to you on the obsession/why do they do it stuff, and once you got an answer on that the discussion is (still, somehow) whether in fact you think kids shouldn't see drag queens whatever the context as I first suggested to you over an hour ago. Put it to bed now if you like?

I’m not one denying that they read books like that, and as I’ve stated, it won’t be for my family or kids, but it goes back to the same point - if you’re not taking your own kids to the event, why the outrage? Why outrage over decisions that other parents are making for their own kids?
Since when have we needed to try and take control over how other parents are wanting to raise their children?

I have no doubt that gender identity is getting bigger and bigger in terms of education, but if it doesn’t impact your own children, I can’t see why you would be angry.

Why is it only very young children they seek to interact with ?
Because they're the kids who attend storytime and older kids can read themselves.

'Only' is incorrect as previously pointed out.

You're jumping at shadows here.

He means "clergy story time" = church.

Ps. Questions too hard mate? What a surprise
Doesn’t make sense.
Church is not solely for the benefit of 2 - 3 year olds is it?

Like I said before - all the lefties will be breaking their necks to send their kids to elite Catholic , Anglican etc private schools when the time comes.
The hypocrisy is delicious

Is that it ?

I’m not the one living in the past
The drag queens can’t move past the 70’s
No, I genuinely want to know your opinion on homesteading.

Do you have any opinions on vegans - such as their taste for the death of humans - you'd like to share with the rest of the thread?

Are these elusive lefties in the room with you right now?

Start a thread and I’ll comment

This is about grown men choosing to dress as women to read to under 5’s

One wonders why they can’t just be men reading to children if the object of the excercise is to entertain little children with stories

Or is that NOT the object of the excercise?

Would it be more acceptable for you if these men wore superhero costumes?

Why can’t you stay on topic ?
It seems every question I pose you are unable to answer

I guess you need to ask yourself what exactly is the motive behind this

Stop projecting and answer the question.

Do you not trust yourself around children?

Same thing you’re infering about every drag queen reading books to kids. Not nice is it
Really ?
Since the children are under 5 I’d imagine their parents would be with them
I’ve not ever raised the safety of children as an issue

I thought any personal abuse would bring an infraction?
