I'm not expecting krak's numbers to get back to what they were at the start of the year. That structure is no longer in place. At a guess his numbers will be as random as his selection going into the final 9 rounds.

Apparently so - he got through training last week and is looking good. Chad thinks he'll be ready to go this week - heck, he thought he was ready last week.

Just a little extra on chad:

Cornes set for early comeback
PORT Adelaide star Chad Cornes is on track to make an early return from a knee injury against Melbourne at the MCG this week.

Cornes, 29, underwent surgery on his troublesome knee following Port Adelaide's round 10 loss to Collingwood, and was expected to miss at least six weeks.

However, a quicker-than-expected recovery will see the dual All-Australian make a comeback just one month after going under the knife. More

Sal started as a rebounding defender prior to losing some form and not being able to seagull as much due to our midfield being smashed.

He seemed to push further into the midfield in his first game back from being dropped, but i'm not sure if this will be a permanent thing. It's not normal for him to start on the bench.

I posted this only a week ago in this thread and a week later i'm still not convinced krak's numbers will return to what he had at the start of the year. His recent strong performance may help to keep him in our 22 though.

Broadbent has been listed as an emergency the last 4 weeks and has continued his fantastic form in the SANFL. He has been named in the best players 10 times in his 11 games!

With Meyer having a quiet couple of weeks and Sal and Krak back in the team and coming off a good game, now would have to be the time for broadbent to debut.

Gday fellas,

Any word on Wade Thompson?

Is he even available to play being a rookie? is there anyone on your long term injury list?

Ive had him sitting on my forward line all year on the back of good reports pre season, and now im in trouble with Pav and Walker not playing.

Any info appreciated, Cheers guys

Im looking to trade Salopek in this week for Kerr, Do you think he cant get back to his form he had before the injury to the kangaroos or does it have something to do with where choco plays him??

Wade isn't injured but won't play again this year, struggling for form atm.

Salopek is down on confidence, but will improve his scores with each game. There are probably better options around though.

There isn't a spot for wade thompson as we currently have no players on the LTIL and Meyer is our chosen rookie elevation. Needless to say, he's wallowing in the SANFL reserves atm so he'd be nowhere near AFL selection.

Salopek for kerr is just crazy. You're better off leaving Sal in your team and not wasting a trade.

thanks I had an idea he was in the best 18 he looks like he will be a cheap DT

improver and good advise on Kerr who has been disappointing this year.

I meant Kerr out...Salopek In. kerr has been rubbish this year averaging below 70 so he is definately out but I just wonder if you think trading Salopek in would be a good choice?

hartlett would still be about 3 weeks away. Choco likes him and wants to give him as much AFL time as possible, so i doubt he'll spent much if any time in the SANFL

Salopek would be a good replacement for kerr. He's probably the best performing player for his price.

wow, here i was hoping hartlett would be back next week.

what injury did he sustain again?

Hartlett did his hammy.

On broadbent, i'm becoming less convinced he'll debut this year. We're starting to hit the business end of the season and i believe the coaches want to keep the side as settled as possible and as experienced and mature as possible. The only exception would be hartlett who while only 18 with 6 games experience is rated very highly and would undoubtedly be in our best 22 when fit.

unless of course you lose to the Dees. Then he'll be in next week, surely.;)

Nathan Krakouer - His status ?

Hi Port peoples, not sure what the protocol is with asking Supercoach questions on team boards, but just wanted to know whether Krakouer will have a permanent place in the team for the rest of the year (barring injury of course) ?

I had him earlier in the year, and looking to get him again (trading out Skipworth). Any advice appreciated! Thanks.

Re: Nathan Krakouer - His status ?

Use your eyes and see the big dream team & supercoach thread....thats where to ask. Not too difficult.
