Re: Nathan Krakouer - His status ?

I wouldn't call Krakouer's place 'pernament' but I think it's a good chance that he'll be sticking in the 22 for the year if fit and healthy (he's quite injury prone and dropped due to form once).

I've just had Jed Adcock go down and have found myself in a bit of a pickle with a big game coming up. I'm tossing up between Ryan Hargrave and Chad Cornes as his replacement and was just wanting to know where Chadwick is at in terms of his injury!? Is he still under an injury cloud with his knee or anything else and playing under duress? Is he underdone? I know he played on the w.e but wouldn't mind the opinions of those who know a bit more....

I know he is a great DT pick when up and about but im just wondering if he is actually that?! I don't have the luxury of watching him for a couple of weeks as I need a player this week, that's why I ask.

Cheers

Any update on Hartlett's situation please? Also, based on his last few games is it fair to say Davenports place is secure until the end of the year (form dependant of course) or is he likely to be pushed by someone returning in the next few weeks?

Hartlett is still listed as 2 weeks away. Choco loves him and will play him.

Davenport has been impressive but probably not a lock just yet. We have carr, burgoyne x2 and hartlett not in our midfield who are all best 22 players when fit and firing. Davenport may eventually get pushed out.

Thanks Forza, that's kinda what I was thinking. Any of those firing up will walk back in. I'd love Hartlett to get back soon but, having a big future at your club, there won't be any rush to get him back. Guess I'll just hold Hartlett another week and cop a zero this week with no Bartel.

I don't think he's getting pushed out any time soon now. Damn it, I can't buy him after his price rise now. Oh well, hope he continues to do well for you.

Just wondering what you learned chaps thoughts about the Chad are? I'm taking applications to fill my 7th defender position...I was almost set on Hodge as I reckon he's back and will continue to score big but the Chad is almost $150k cheaper, and is a proven SC'er.

Is the Chad back to, or nearing his best??

in terms of bang for your buck, chad will be a solid performer.

hopefully he'll be near is best in the coming weeks, lord knows we'll need him firing.

So you reckon he looks pretty safe injury-wise??

Also, Broadbent, I know he's named on the extended bench...any thoughts as to his job security? I really need an emergency that is actually going to get a game.

Chad should be safe injury wise *touches wood* (the stuff from trees, not the other kind of wood ;))

Broadbent's job security is weak as we have a host of returning stars and stars still not in the team that are best 22 when in form. He may not even play this week

Peter Burgoyne needs to do some soul searching and find out for himself if he still has the burning desire to play football at AFL level. Hopefully he'll snap out of this lull and be back in the 22 sooner rather than later.

Peter B seemed to play ok. Got a few touches, some long kicks, ranked 4th best, the type of stuff that may earn a recall.

tbh, i have no freaking idea when or if he'll be back. Apparently he came close to retiring, but looks to be keen on playing on so he may get his chance this week or next week.
