How is Davenport looking for R1? I haven't seen him in many best 22's, but I'd suggest that if he gets his chance at any stage he'll be impossible to drop back to the SANFL. If he's no chance for R1, how far back in the queue is he?

Do you reckon Salopek's scoring with go upwards playing in defence or down a bit? I'd reckon he's due for a huge season, the bloke is a gun.

Also, Davenport? Any chance at round 1?

He wouldn't be too far back, but i doubt he'll get a look in round one. There's plenty of competition for his type of role so don't expect him to play too many games this year.

Salopek's scoring last year was phenomenol, not sure i'd expect it to go any higher than last year. As for davenport, see above.

Now that Thompson's been elevated, do you think he will definitely play RD 1 (and beyond)? Cheers.

He's looking good for a round 1 game, but i wouldn't lock him in just yet.

Bret Ebert for Supercoach, should I consider him a cheap bargin at $306,300?

Will he improve from last year?

I'm expecting a bigger year from ebert, but i wouldn't consider him for any fantasy footy. Just doesn't get enough of it around the ground.

Anyone have an answer for this one? I read this about him on your afl.com list report:

Wade Thompson
Wade, along with Danny Meyer, are probably the main guys vying for a senior spot with Jackson Trengove on the long-term injury list. He’s come on in leaps and bounds since we first got him. He’s gone from not being a very good runner to being a pretty good runner now and he gives us something that we maybe don’t have now in a little, quick dangerous forward.

That last bit is interesting. The Hawks showed last year how good a couple of quick crumbing forwards can be (in Rioli and Stokes), so this might be the green light for Thompson.

Reckon he will play?

I know Pearce has been metioned a few times but do I go with him for one of my midfield spots?
He had a poor year last year compared tp previous yrs and with Port being predicted as a possible improver, you would think that if they do he would get a fair bit of the ball.

I am so unsure about him.

Your feed back would be appreciated.
By a couple of people would be great.

I'm expecting thompson to play at least 10+ games this year, but i'm not sure he's a lock for round 1. He may very well pull a rioli and play 22 games for us.

Pearce is a great pick. He's set to have a super year. I'm expecting a massive improvement in his tackle count this year.

^ All you have to do is read back a bit

Krak is a steal so long as he's named. I'm not 100% sold he'll be a walk in start every week. Rodan is a wise choice, i expect his numbers to rise.

He had a pretty good year last year didn't he? If he did then its strange to see his value so low. Not sure if he will have a better year than last year.

Out: Hodge, Goodes, Rodan

In: S Fisher, R Griffen, N Foley

hmm dont know if this is a good idea. I just think Hodge is overvalued at this stage and griff/foley would be more consistant than goodes/rodan

Can anyone confirm the rumour that Krak will be port's Quarter back this year? Surely if this is true he would be in the best 22?

(Chad has him in his DT, thats a good sign):thumbsu:

Krak will play the in the quarterback role, but salopek will be the first optin. This is where it becomes hazy if choco wants to play 1 or 2 quarterbacks. Krak will most likely play plenty of games, but i doubt it'll be the full 22.

How about B lade will he get back to his form of 2 years ago?

Lade is looking set for a big year. Not sure he'll capture the same form as two years ago, but he should perform better than last year.

Rodan was solid last year, but word around the club is that he's set to take his game to the next level. Griff/foley will probably be more consistent than goodes/roden.

Supercoach yeah, but DTwise he's the midfield Brett Ebert.

16.0 touches a game in 2007, 16.4 in 2008 and with the midfield group as strong as ever you doubt he'd be able to push up to the 20+ needed to be seriously effective.

Not even in the side this week by the looks, shattered as i took him in my DT

Doubtful hartlett will play round 2. He is recovering from a shoulder injury so will probably be in the SANFL for the foreseeable future. Will crack into the 22 at some stage this year.
