Backs: Fisher, Goddard, Lockyer, Gram, Houlihan, Raines, Hill (Broughton, Pearce) What do u think about this tactic, i have a feeling Hill will play most games this year and with having one of these blokes backup. You would think at least one of them would play.

Mids: Selwood, Tuck, Gibbs, Boak, Masten, Rich (Robinson, Beams)

Rucks: Cox, Ottens (Currie, Jacobs)

Forwards: Deledio, Didak, Giansiracusa, Brennan, Higgins, Skipworth, Ziebell (Grant, Ballantyne)

Fisher, Goddard, Cornes, Drummond, Lockyer, Houlihan, Raines (patrenko, suban)
Ablett, Gibbs, Knights, Boak, Hill, Rich (otten, robinson)
Cox, Fraser (Currie, Spencer)
Delidio, Gia, L Davis, Lucas, Higgins, Skipworth, Zeibell (Sidey, Hogan)

3 rookies starting, but im pretty sure Ill have the back up.

Risks on Drummond - hoping for a good start and Hodge to start slow
Skipworth - I think he will play for Welsh
Mids - Ablett to captain, Gibbs to be a premium, a risk on both Boak and Knights but hoping for them to step up in consistancy. (the scores are there in previous years)

I guess its a risk, but nothings wrong with it if you personally think that Hill will play most games.
Having 2 backups that are rookies (both of them wont play tbh) is plain dumb when you have 2 players who look like they could get dropped.
Nothing personal, just saying its stupid to have rookies :p

Besides that, nice team. You dont have many captain options though.

First time I have actually seen someone have Hill in the middle, which I think is really smart.
Your backline is great! Not too sure on Drummond though, he is a real risk. And having no real good backup is a bit risky.
Good midfield, but I would try your hardest to try and steer away starting two rookies in the midfield; although you only have 1 rookie in the forward line.
Having Lucas and Skipworth I think might be a bit risky.

Fremantle have room for two rookies to be elevated to the senior list and it looks like these two are leading the way.
I wouldnt select them otherwise:p

Ok this is my most thought out team, But I not quite sure. All advice would be very welcome.

BACKS: Hodge, Cornes, Lockyer, X Clarke, Hunt, Barlow, Hill
(Collier (E), Garner)
MIDFIELD: Ablett, Cornes, Cross, Haselby, Skipworth, Rich
(Sidebottom (E), Spackman)
RUCKS: Ottens, McIntosh
(Walsh, Tippett)
FORWARD: Pav, Deledio, Roughead, Lovett, Gamble, Riewoldt, Henderson
(Ziebell (E), Dzufer)

$53,100 in the bank.

Where should i spend it?? forward on the cheap ones or drop a Midfielder like cross/cornes for someone like Gibbs/Boak and go for Cox or something like that.

Remember mate, it's YOUR team, don't just listen to me. I think Bate/Brennan are better options around his price (Brennan $20k more though). I don't like KPP's in fantasy so maybe I'm being unfair on Roughy, but I just don't think they pass to him enough. If you think Roughy will do well, take him.:thumbsu:

haha your right mate dw i kept fev and roughy so we agree to disagree on that one. but once again cheers for the tip on cloke. still sorta debating on whether to go dave hille instead of cox to save some cash

PM me when they announce the two elevations yeah? ;)

My key is with Drummond he only has to play til round 10ish for me to be happy with his selection, because the way he finds the pill he will be around 380K.

The two mids are my rookies because I trust them more than the forwards, I think rich/hill will play more games than yarran and score better just my opinion. Lucas will be fine, usually durable, Skipworth will get a game and increase in price, he's not bought as a keeper just a money earner, hopefully will max around 300, maybe thats asking to much but anywhere from 280-320 and ill be happy, It'll be then only a 30-50K increase to pick up a falling Reiwoldt :)

My first year doing a DT so I'm a complete noob at it and this team probably sucks. Advice/abuse welcomed.

Enright, Birchall, Gilbee, Malceski, Raines, Collier, Maguire. S. Hill, Presti/<$100k rookie.
Ablett, Swan, Hodge, Selwood, N. Jones, Rich. Dangerfield, Robinson.
Cox, McIntosh. Currie, Pyke.
Pavlich, Gia, N. Brown, Lucas, Higgins, Skipworth, Ziebell. Hentschel, Gumbleton.
$4k left.

I'm sure there's some ****ups there but thought I'd see what people thought before I scrap it and start again.

I wouldnt say it sucks, but your backline is a bit shaky. Also, if you want Hodge, put him in the backline.
I would suggest to downgrade one of the Ablett/Swan to just make some cash to upgrade your backline.

Nice forward line but I still think starting Raines and Hill may be too much of a risk.
Good job though.

If anyone could help me, it would be awesome.
Ok I have finished my team but I can
1) Have two rookies starting in the middle (Dangerfield/Otten/Hartlett & Rich)
2) Have two rookies starting in the backline (Raines [consider him as a rookie] & Hill.

The position that gets picked has a good backup too.

Cheers :thumbsu:

I have Raines and Hill in the backline. I don't think it is a massive issue. If Raines isn't named, change him to J.Smith. If he isn't named, go with Dempsey who will be named 100%. Raines will have a solid year and average around 70 imo. Will be a good player to make you money.

Hill is a gun and was best on ground for freo last week imo. I see him starting in the 22. Very similar type to Ibbotson.

IMO I would not have 2 rookies on any line starting as it is just too risky. If you must, I would wait & see if Raines is named in the Tige's starting game as I can see Hill starting for Freo. As for your mids, I would hazard to guess Rich would be the best chance of starting & not 100% on the others listed.
