Please, if you want to refer to him by his nickname from his time at Windy hill at least spell it right, his nickname is Dimmer because he had a habit of dimming the lights on anyone unfortunate enough to play on him,
Dimma was a bulldogs player...
Don't hold your breath on Houli, we were waiting a long time for the game of his life..

So the email the coach sends out to the members each week isn't called "Direct from Dimma"?

Well then I suggest you let the club know that the email they are sending is spelling his Essendon given nickname incorrectly, trust me it is Dimmer...Dimma was a bulldog....Dimmer is an Essendon premiership player and life member..

At least we got something for Tambling and hes still playing regular AFL football. It's not like your track record is perfect, I get a feeling you had pick 2 a few years back.. can't for the life of me remember the bloke you picked but I believe a few blokes behind him ended up All Australians.

What can you see through the haze? can we except some more MB Richmond trolling from you? Funny how much Bombers fans like to accuse us of getting ahead of ourselves, yet we're not even halfway through the season and despite many of you carrying on like you're a premiership chance you are only 2 wins above an apparently ordinary side like us.

calm down buddy. You might blow a gasket :D

Tomorrow night I assume.

Hope Grigg plays midfield, makes it easier for our mids :thumbsu:

Quotes?

I agree, but I just don't rate a few of your players

btw, thanks for the sig. I've been trying to make some ridiculous comment that gets on a sig for years. Now I don't have to :thumbsu:
Hird comments are on the AFL site.

As for the signature, you're welcome. :) Had a few of my own posts given the sig treatment, just shows that people read your stuff no matter how silly it might be. :thumbsu:

Tah.

People who read my posts generally get dumber immediately after :D. I'm very irrational and make stupid statements. Even as BF vet

Davey the sub i presume?? He's given us nightmares a couple of times, hate the little fella like i do Milne, Didak

Just like Titch Edwards generally rips us a new one. Thankfully he is not playing.

We now have 3 ruckman to counter yours..............3 unproven ruckmen

Vickery has looked great up forward and has shown glimpses in the ruck, but never really grabbed a game by the neck

Browne, 5th game tonight, has shown good form at Coburg and should at least provide a contest in the hitouts which Gus didn't

Post will play 90% up forward and may pinch hit in the ruck like against Port last year

3 proven vs 3 unproved.. oo i like this.

ess has a better structure... it would have been a loss if hocking and jobe weren't out

now without them two, we will win.

You're seriously saying we have a better structure, and are more likely to win without Jobe and Heath? We have a far better forward line, defense and rucks than Richmond, but their midfield worries me without those two.

EDIT: It's been posted on BB that Slats has passed his fitness test and will play.

thats right mick..

i think jobe and hocking looked a little tired, and needed the rest..

Hocking the brain fade..

we will win.

Just the vibe im getting, alot of you guys think you'll win this fairly easily, i beg to differ, it's going to be a tight affiar

Losing our two best mids has me very worried about this game. If we're going to go places we should be able to handle you regardless, but losing our best clearance player and our best run-with player hurts. Richmond has to be worried about our forward line. You don't have enough height or quality to handle Ryder, Hille and Crameri if they're having a good night.

You have a better defence and Rucks, to say you have a better forward line would be a nieve statement at best. Who in your side comes even remotely close to JR?

Should be a good game. Our starts have been appauling but if it's close coming into the final quarter I'd say you're in trouble.

Essendon doesn't have a JR, but we have better medium and small goal-kickers, as well as 3 good marking targets in Ryder, Crameri and Hille. It's not a traditional forward set-up but it's working.

Richmond will want a shoot-out but we'll lose that battle with Jobe and Heath out. Stanton, Zaka and Milkshake have to play the game of their lives.
