Martin won't go he hates publicity
They are under the mistaken belief that it will be announced tonight that Duty is re-signing. This is based on a throwaway line in a channel 7 news segment that an 'announcement' would happen this week, which is no different from any other assurances from multiple news agencies that an 'announcement' would happen soon that have been happening for like 2 months now.
There will not be an announcement on the footy show tonight
You've mistaken the word announcement for decision.. at the end of the week, the public will be none the wiser.

At the start of the season Martin was a great player in a bottom 6 club. Now he's one of the best in the AFL in a top 4 club. If the offer was 850 then, and 1.1 now, that makes it $250 per year extra. Give or take. Not sure who would be laughing.

Looks like Kangaroos will miss out on Martin and go balls deep with an over the top offer for Kelly.
He's hoping for a pigeon for his client and once Martin signs with Richmond, it will arrive.
Kangaroos have to land a player eventually with the sort of cash they are handing out, surely?

Why not. Our best chance of playing in a GF since '82, all the signs pointing to Dusty re-signing, we have the AA Captain, more likely than not this years Brownlow medalist, add that to the last day of winter and its a good time to be a Tiger.
