Sorry mate I don't spend all my passing days reading this forum, that's why I must have missed that important point you made.

I dont want to sound like an arseh*le but I knew that before joining here in Oct. Its pretty basic football knowledge. Cap / football department are completely different things when it comes to financials unless you are Fitzroy in the 90s.

The Afl pay the players, each club gets to spend an equal amount amongst all it's players, current TPP at about 10mill a club if that makes sense

Football club department/coaches etc are payed by the club hope that explains it for you.
