That's a novel idea.I am thinking about the NBA, whether they call games remotely. I do not think so. Albeit games not covered on national cable are called by local commentators who are, wait for it, at the game.

A true professional would want to be at the event to get a proper feel of the atmosphere and call the game correctly.
