That's a novel idea.I am thinking about the NBA, whether they call games remotely. I do not think so. Albeit games not covered on national cable are called by local commentators who are, wait for it, at the game.
I'm not much of a b-ball fan, but traditionally callers sat courtside near the scorer's table.I am thinking about the NBA, whether they call games remotely. I do not think so. Albeit games not covered on national cable are called by local commentators who are, wait for it, at the game.

That is right.I am thinking about the NBA, whether they call games remotely. I do not think so. Albeit games not covered on national cable are called by local commentators who are, wait for it, at the game.
A true professional would want to be at the event to get a proper feel of the atmosphere and call the game correctly.
The ashes are on the anti-siphoning list, so FTA gets first crack. It must save Fox an absolute boatload in the travel and accom costs and most casual viewers probably dont even realise.
Fox appear to be cost cutting fairly hard especially across the sports channels. Not having the WTC final or the Ashes (and ch9 NOT showing the first couple of hours in HD, at least in perth) is ******* criminal.

I’m talking about Ashes in England.Fox still showed the last Ashes (as did ch7), how does that work?
