Also love when he is on AFL Nation games also . And his afternoon show on Sen is good to.

And he gets 100s of callers calling in every day complimentary of his commentary. Can't be to bad. Think this thread just has an axe to grind

When it’s a close game in the 4th quarter he’s the best commentator by far IMO.

I'd argue Huddo is. His call feels more authentic and spur of the moment at this point in a match. Even when it's a close game, Dwayne's entire schtick feels so manufactured

I used to hate Dwayne's commentary. All of his go-to phrases were like fingernails on a chalk board to me. And it always triggered me when he was commentating a game the Crows were losing. I can't say I watch a heap of games anymore, and often I watch on mute, but I do listen to a LOT of SEN, and I absolutely love Dwayne's show. I actually think he comes across as a ripper of a bloke, who is just living his best life, and working his dream job. He is also a student of the game, and clearly puts in a lot of work to his craft, as annoying/tacky as his delivery can be at times. He is pretty humble, and readily admits his faults. Would love to have a beer with him. Also, doesn't he have like 4 redbulls before calling a game? That could explain a lot.
