Conversations between Roberton and Hawthorn would've happened earlier in the year, however a re-think was had in regards to requirements of the list once a few of the Hawthorn kids fulfilled key roles in the backhalf, so it remains to be seen if Wright still thinks Roberton has a role, or some one else has stepped up into it already.

I think it fits with other rumours of us shopping Birch around.

Been some rumours linking him to the Lions. Not sure how true they are. Were first mentioned on the Saints board from memory? Kind of strange he is yet to re-sign considering he made the AA 40-man squad. You'd think he'd be a high priority for the Saints. Or perhaps they were focused on Billings and now they've secured him they've turned their attention to Roberton and a new deal is in the works as we speak.

Only those who are homesick/disgruntled/lacking opportunity are likely to leave.

I would certainly hope that your 6 would be better than those two!

Highly doubt that between the 6 of them they'd only be getting around $1.2mil PA tho.
