Carlton really need a Shiel type. GWS wouldnt want him to leave in the first place but if it did eventuate would want a great return.

Carlton fan perspective: No 2018 pick 1 by itself is a chance in hell. Shiel has 4-5 years left as top shelf. Walsh/Luko would have 8-10 years of top shelf play and may end up more than an A-Grader which is what shiel is.
GWS fan perspective: GTFO then as Shiel helps us towards our flag windows over the next few years and is a bonafide A-grader.

SoS perspective: i'm not sure this year. On past years he has been a value proposition guy. Maybe he cant afford to be in 2018 trade period.
Shiel perspective: Do i really want to go to Carlton ...it's tough right now to go there. Better club options exist.

Other perspectives...is there really salary cap squeeze...lots comment but what is the truth. Would a flag change things.
