O'Meara is still a work in progress.....He can still only do 75% of the work-load as a means to limiting his knee from swelling-up post game....It'll take him at least another season to get back to something like his former dominant self, which we have been seeing signs of this year.....Usually when he comes back from a week off he kills it because of the rest to his knees.

Zaharakis is at least a B+ to A- player.....He was probably your best player last year.....Enough with the nonsense.

Would it make sense to front end Jezza's contract while we had a lot if youngsters on low contracts and an expanded cap, or backend it and wait until those youngsters developed and were worth big money with a normalised cap.

Till the end if 2019. Like Shiel he's been on rolling two year contracts. In 20155 the club said they and Treloar were offered similar. No hard data but I assume their contracts progressed to around $800k last year. All reports are that's what we aim to pay the top shelf
I'll be interested to see if their next contracts are long term. They're both entering the phase of their careers where you'd expect their value to be more predictable.

I dont see any going this year. The fact we didn't participate in the early club trade meetings does not indicatole a club keen to trade players.

Next year both are RFA's and Kelly is OOC. Who knows what will happen then. Their wishes will decide.
