The whole Dolphins RB situation is pi ssin g me off. I have both Ronnie and Ricky and if its a true split of the carries they're both almost not worth starting.

I'll just wait and see how it all pans out down there. I've still got a feeling Ronnie is going to be the main man there, he's coming off a reco so they'll play him safe. As for Ricky, who knows? He could be smoking hooch up in Queensland come December....

It was obviously well documented during the draft stage, but just looking through my roster I'd love to have 3-4 good QB's like JD. Having a Carson Palmer or a Drew Brees in that OP spot is such a luxury. Most of us are lumped with bit part receivers like Devin Hester he could end up scoring nothing....

If I could describe my first week of Dynasty Football, the best word would be - wow.
So many players can decide whether I win or lose, with Brady getting injured, Watson not playing and my third string TE getting 22.4 points (Fassano) and with two other 0's where If I put probably my last stringer for both players, I would get 20 points for them both.

This is going to be a fun season, I need something to distract my from the Rams abysmal loss today.

EDIT: On second note, with my first round pick in Brady already injured, it may be a long dynasty season.
At least I can't see him losing his job next season and the Patriots should start losing.

Well, I need Justin Fartgas to pull out all the stops, keep the Fad off the field, and run up about 20 odd points for me!! Otherwise I am 0-1. Nick Barnett making about 15 tackles and Derrick Burgess 10 tkles and 2 sacks would be helpful as well......

No, I need McFadden to get over the top of the Flashers in Dynasty and the Mustangs in BFFFL.

Need about 70-90 pts in Dynasty with Russell, McFadden, Young, Royal, Miller to beat Flashers.

Need about 40 pts in BFFFL with Russell, McFadden, Young, Miller, Raiders DST to beat Mustang.

Well if the Raiders knock up a 37-30 win you might have a chance!

Fad/Miller lots of receptions and TD's from JRus, and Roayl some good yards and a TD or 2 and Young to pound the rock for some yards and TD's. The only problem is that the Raiders D wont score big unless that includes some INT and Sacks/fumbles etc

Pretty happy how my team panned out after Brady went down.

Interesting too given all the discussion on playing QB's in the OP positions that it really didn't have that much of impact.

Pretty happy with my RB's & WR's given I was told I'd be weak in those positions after taking so many QB's early.

That would be the game of the century.
Or, McFadden could score 40 pts himself (possible) if he rushes for 100, receives 100, and scores a TD or two.
5 players to score 40 total is very do-able.
5 players to score 90 (dynasty) is pushing my luck.

All I know is, the waiver and FA wire is going to work overtime in the next couple of days from everyone.

The good thing is that there are negatives for INTs and fumbles and fumbles lost. Which pegs them back a bit. See JTO, or even Romo, Eli Manning. While, a game like Brees or McNabb had and they score 30+. Which is fair enough considering a game like Turner or Forte had would equal the same.

Pts For will matter in Dynasty for WC spots as it's just the one conference. But for now your main Pts-For rival is Cassius if you can get the divisional title you'll be laughing.

And with a less that stellar outing by Ray Rice, McGahee should come back in as the set no 1 RB...

First week an interesting comparison between the QB heavy team (JD despite Brady's injury) and a RB/WR heavy team...

EDIT - I honestly did think I would do shite this year... Surprised by the first week tbh...

You've got a very good starting team. Your depth may let you down over the season if injuries occur. But like Dspeed said before....you're just underplaying your team so the higher expectations arent there. But really, you're playoff caliber (pending depth) and consistency.
