Are you people hoping to have the same list as last year or something? yes good thinking, we'll finish 10th again. Do you people like mediocrity? Hay would give us a strong backmen. What happens if robbie gets injured again? Who is going to play on the opposition's gun forward? Parker tries hard, but he has no hope against Hall, Lloyd, Gehrig etc... Even if Robbie is fit, he isnt over big. He lacks Hay's size

Yes but giving up Dunn AND pick 10??? That's just stupid. Hawthorn had a chance to screw us over big and didn't take it

You are assuming it was the list that held us back in 2005, an assumption which many of us don't agree with.
Haddrill can do the job and showed us that prior to his injury.

Hay is more injury prone than Sir Robert.

Exactly, its not the list thats an issue. Our backline will be bolstered by the inclusion of haddrill and Hayden next year. If Polak returns to form at CHB our back 6 will work well in conjunction with each other and won't be a big weakness.

At the end of 2005 we were 16th for clearances. No wonder our backline took a pounding. If next year Hasleby, Bell and Josh Carr are fully fit you can expect that we'll rise up the ladder in terms of clearances.

Lets not go for the quick fix. Keep the list close to what it is at the moment and we will move forward.

If we don't get Hay, Pickett or Armstrong as they all seem to be involved in a large deal. I think our next target should be Llane Spaanderman.

You really aren't missing the chance to rub it in to us non-believers hey Gav! :D
I think the nay-sayers on sites like this have a similar effect to the PR boys and the skanky rumours like the one Commetti put up; incredibly bad for a professional journo.

Seems it worked. Look whats on fremantlefc.com.au

The Fremantle Football Club wishes to correct reports in the media that circulated out of Tuesday’s talks at trade week that Fremantle has offered their first round draft choice, selection 10, and young utility player Ryley Dunn to Hawthorn in exchange for Jonathan Hay.

This is not the case.

Talks between Fremantle and Hawthorn are continuing in respect to Jonathan Hay but no offer has yet been presented by Fremantle.

In the course of the AFL trade week numerous rumours and speculation circulate however Fremantle members and supporters can be assured that they will be kept up to date on any player movements via the club website fremantlefc.com.au.

Dunn is worth a 3rd rounder at best at the moment so I couldn't give a flying f*&k if he was thrown into a Pick 10 deal for Hay. My problem lay with the fact that Pick 10 was given so freely, i would hate to lose that pick for Hay...as for Dunn, who cares...a slow midfielder/backman unable to read the play with poor disposal.
