Yes. I listed 11 tho. The worrying thing for me and you I'd imagine, are the lack of West Aussies in that list. As they seem to be constantly injured. Inglis the only fit guy and he is the reserve bat while Connolly is unlikely to play. Rocky was unlucky not to tour imo.

Sounds like Kuhnemann is going to be able to play.

So you'd think it'd be Starc, Lyon, Kuhnemann and then Murphy or Boland depending on conditions.

They've taken 3 quicks. They're prepared to play 2 - but it will come down to the pitch I'd expect.

I think Connolly might still be a chance if only playing 1 paceman. Lyon and Head with offspin Kuhnemann and Connolly with left arm. With Connolly's batting balancing the team a bit better than including Murphy as well.

Not where it is being played. Second quick averages a couple of overs an innings. Webster can do that.

Why what's this sudden obsession with them? For every jadeja there is a phill tufnell or Xavier doherty etc. Just pick the best spinner.

Didn't George bailey give a shout out as well. So circa 05 when it was all rounders it now appears this is the latest obsession. Why? An all-rounder I get as you need a 5th bowling option but this is so odd. Most left arm finger spinners are ineffective at test level.

Kuhermann was nearly our best spinner on the last sub continent tour. The quick dart spinners do fantastic over there.

It's about Asian pitches with spin and grip from the "good part of the pitch" - left armers bowling to right handers can pitch them on the stumps with their stock ball threatening the outside edge and bringing the slip into play - and the one that doesn't grip and skids through is deadly - beat the bat and it's lbw. Offies skidders might ocasionally take the edge - but heaps of them just end up in the keepers gloves.

If it looks like a turner, I think there's a definite chance we go in with Starc and Webster for seam and Lyon and Kuhneman asthe main spinners with Head and Connolly as change up bowlers of each finger spinning variety. Gives us batting depth and bowling depth. The amount of work that spinners can do means that you can go with 3 front line bowlers and 3 change up bowlers.
