I wouldn't really mind if we select Towers and the instruct him to punch every Hawthorn player. He can get years for all I care.

LMAO Vonn...he will still probably miss anyway so what is the point.

Out: Towers (I have finally lost patience after defending him all season), Shaw
In: Mclynn (sub), Heeney

I'm 50/50 on Pyke missing but I doubt we will make too many changes.
McGlynn hasn't played any form of football for six weeks

He wouldn't hurt them unfortunately, even if he hit the target.

Now I am just being petty

Then reluctantly I would pick Brandon Jack. We NEED someone at the feet of the two talls, especially with our midfielders and the 'bomb it to Buddy' plan. If Mcglynn says he is fit I would probably play him as the sub though- not a full game.

Should be a cracker. Couple of interesting decisions for match committee. Looks like Pyke will have to go, he won't be mobile enough to go with Cegler and McEvoy. Shaw probably stays just because of the number of small/med forwards Hawks have, even though I have no confidence in his one on one defence. Betting pool on number of head highs on Poo, Breust, Shiels, Rioli.

Richards back as the floating defender should change things up I hope. Give Reid a man and back him to make the spoil or use his strong marking to rebound.

Didn't watch the Freo match, will do so tonight. Interesting to see if Hawks were that good or whether Freo were just crap...

Hawks were that good. I watched it before I watched Djokovic last night. We have to put a heavy tag on Mitchell, if we don't we will lose.

If you act to injure another player like that you deserve a suspension. He has form.

I'd be happy with a fine, but if he does that rubbish again, throw the book at him. The MRP got the first one wrong (Taylor Walker one). That should have been a fine.

If we play like we did in round 8/round 2 we win the game in a canter, our good is very good and can easily match the hawks. Bring the tripe we brought against the Lions and we get the Fremantle treatment. However in saying that I watched the whole match yesterday and freo were absolute shite they literally have no forward structure, were bombing it in carelessly and it was a piece of cake for the hawks defenders (yikes, remind you of a team) We need to fix it ffs, at least it does seem like the coaching staff have identified this as a problem. But as Horse always says it is about pressure - about the only thing that can stop a hawks team in full flight and we need to bring it from the get go. Slight feeling we will come to play but I won't bet on it and if we do we will win. It is a must win really 8 point buffer against the hawks is about as good as it gets not to mention top 2.

Feel like buddy needs to fire this time around and he very well should. Tippet needs to bring the form with him in this match. Midfield needs to at least equal the hawks or we will get demolished. Defence needs to stand up and we need to play slingshot - it is very effective against the hawks. Lol pretty much saying that we need to be at our absolute best.

As much as I hate ANZ, it has actually been a pretty good hunting ground for us and the hawks do seem to struggle to play there but let's not get comfy on that fact because we have all witnessed first hand what happens when the hawks are their best and we play shit.

Well they gave him the benefit of the doubt. I don't mind that. But he no longer deserves that benefit.

The 'fine' is the benefit of the doubt, should have been done last time. Similarly Fyfe got the same.

put K Jack or shaw forward

B jack is just rubbish

its like Pyke playing just because he is a ruckman

Sam Mitchell shouldnt get anything for that

As an isolated incident you'd let it go but he has form for it and I think the AFL need to stamp it out. A fine will suffice.

Gibson should be okay to play to I reckon. Will most likely cop a fine as well.

Would you want a Swans player going down with a knee or out of the game with a corkie?

Its really dangerous sticking the knee up like that.

Tippett stuck his knee up at Shaw last year

Injuries in a contact sport are unfortunate but these are split second decisions to brace for contact

Hey that would cause Horse to have to think. I am realistic even though I have been on the K.Jack forward for the whole season.
