That was in a marking contest!

Shaw was running toward Tippett marking alone, not much different

rub him out then, i dont care that much, just dont think its that big of a deal, he must be close to 300 games, hardly a serial knee raiser
im concerned with Cyril chicken wing tackling our players arms out of their sockets

Hey that would cause Horse to have to think. I am realistic even though I have been on the K.Jack forward for the whole season.

Heeney can crumb i guess?

Just feels like B jack will be the same as Towers v hawthorn

ineffective
I know Brandon went to the academy but it wasnt like the hall of justice back then

Would take any help we can get :D

Ideally one would play HFF and one would crumb. Ideally you should have both in your frwardline if you have 2 talls.

I'd rather get a good guide on whether we can match it with the best, and I actually hope we beat them at full strength!

Goodes kind of sits in that crumbers spot a bit

I dont know about crumbing to buddy so much, he does it himself

Tippett at his best certainly creates opportunist type moments that go missing

We need something I agree on that

If you keep bombing it in, you need crumbers, it just is insane to expect Buddy and Tippett and for that matter Goodes to mark every one of them. I like the idea of playing K Jack forward, with Heeney in the middle/HFF.

We have quality players in our forward line, including some quality resting mids but we don't seem to have any sort of system. The ball gets bombed in and both Tippett and Buddy are isolated in their own one on one or one on two contests and no one is blocking for anyone else, there aren't enough smart leads and we don't have crumbers in the right places because they have no way of knowing where the hell the ball is going to go.

I said pretty much exactly that to the better half at the game yesterday. We have all the cattle up forward but we seem to have no plan, no system and no idea how to best utilise them.

No doubt

I also like your solution.

I just dont want to pick players for the sake of it.

The alternative and this may sound crazy is to hit up targets and not bomb forward. ha ha ha crazy hey

I recon Jack would be perfect forward. Yes he has been kicking like a drunk but in the past he is good in front of goals. Plus the one elite thing in his game is his tackling. Defensive pressure automatically improves with K. Jack forward.

LOL at your last line...you and me both hope...but well you know.

Kieran Jack is an odd player at times.

Reputation is better than recent output, IMO. But then just as you think is he doing anything, like early last night he puts out a pretty good game, I considered getting him votes.

I think going forward though there is plenty of scope to push him out of the midfield rotation for more of a half forward role with patches in the middle, but I doubt it happens saturday, who knows. I think at best you will see horse rotate jack, parker, maybe kennedy through a flank role

No Roughead so we are playing box hill.

Lol just getting his health right is the main thing i guess no point risking him, but if its all clear etc then he is surely fit enough to play?

I think it'll be a cracker and a close game. Hawks got caught out early last time - they need to be on like they were this past Sunday.
Typical bully team, like to put the hurt on other teams, but as soon as someone gives it they back off and shit themselves.

Dunno think when the Hawks are on their strengths are in the areas we are weakest, like football. :p

Nah in all seriousness though that spread of goal kicking options kills us a bit when they are on

Look I know I'm on the Swans' board but that's one special response. Can't argue with that.

I think our depth of midfield talent hurts Kierens game a little. He's a pretty decent contested ball winner in his own right but generally has to play more defensively with Kennedy and Parker in the side.
