We won our first final and move onto the Warriors in another do or die match, we've beaten them twice this year but this will be a hard one.

R11 vs Gold City Royals
In this round we lost our mojo against one of the worst posting sides in the history of the SFA. We also lost the game and put our whole season at risk by slipping below .500 after getting things back on track through Rounds 8 & 9. I got a bit of it, as did Doc ****, Tay-Tay and HawkAussie. Filthy bagged 6 more to keep his dream alive. Mr Eagle managed to churn out 21 posts, but seemingly his heart wasn't in it either. Had we hit the wall?

Anyhow, the putrid Wonders managed to inflict our 7th loss for the season by a small margin. Some strange coaching decisions saw inactives Danger in Texas, Jackkenny, GutsyBug and TheCuzEffect all prominent in DT scoring, leaving observers scratching their heads and muttering under their breath about tanking. Biggie continued with his prolific posting ways, backed up by only Mr Eagle and Brown Bottle who both cracked double figures. Our season was slipping away like one of Doc ****'s lubricated zucchinis.
We needed a win. Desperately. We lost.

Round 13 vs Dragons
Who else would you run into when at your lowest ebb but the Dragons? These bottom feeding scum have had more flat-track successes than Graeme Hick. It was hardly surprising that we failed to turn up. Only 5 posters in double figures led by the indomitable Mr Eagle and Biggie, with 27 touches from Brown Bottle and 24 from Doc **** were never going to be enough against the pink-eyed Dragons. Our 3rd biggest loss for the season left us at 5-8 and with no chance of playing finals. Didn't it?

So, with our season done we run into the 2nd biggest bunch of flat track bullies, and of course on the back of a 4 game losing streak we've pretty much flown the white flag. Then a miracle happened kids. To this day no-one is quite sure how or why, but... we won.

Anyway, enough preamble. We all know our season was over well before this match was played, so the result was pretty inconsequential. Our posting numbers were poor. Our Qooty was even wors... wait, what? We won again? I dunno. Whatever.

Look. We all knew when we signed on this season that we were joining a team destined to fail in the regular season. It's common knowledge that Doc **** is the SFA's very own Trevor Barker. No, he's not devastatingly handsome or good at Qooty. He's just never played a final despite being at his 43rd club in his 21st season. There are guys in the SFA who have never posted in the SFA and played in more finals. So were we going to play finals in Season 21? That was as likely as someone remembering a match thread involving the Gold City Royals with fondness. Anyway, I digress. We'd struck a vein of rich form late in the season but those who'd bothered to check after about Round 10 (I'm looking at you Mr Eagle) knew about the curse of the Doc **** so we were all just counting down to the inevitable loss to the Bears that would let us get on with drowning our sorrows and cursing the fact that we'd ever met the Doc. Anyway...
We won. So there!
Biggie, Mr E, Doc ****, Tayl0r and Wacky flew the flag in the thread. Tayl0r was BOG, racking up touches like a hot chick on the Mumbai Express and kicking a casual 3 goals to secure the W. Filthy also bagged 3 as did Dagless.
