was funny that everytime they showed them on screen sitting together, none looked all that happy to be there.

shouldn't think a 6 year coach should need mentoring though?Posted it in another thread weeks ago. Would love for Mick to come back and mentor Buckley. I would hope that they could bury the hatchet and each would be more mature.
It would go a long way to fixing their public images too.

So then Bucks is truly gone?
I don't think any of us looked particularly thrilled to be there until the last 10 minutes of the fourth.was funny that everytime they showed them on screen sitting together, none looked all that happy to be there.
No its not. Zero evidenxe to sugfest it is.
Only Ed knows. So then Bucks is truly gone?
You're a funny guyDon't be surprised if he is on the panel to select the new coach.
I'm far from convinced.Internally he was 2 weeks ago.
He could be Santa, surely.I absolutely love if we are all burying the hatchet - great for all parties.
But no thanks to his involvement
But not the grinchHe could be Santa, surely.
That's all it was 76. Yes I wanted Mick back 3-4 years ago and got called a troll by everyone who has ever signed up to bigfooty but he ain't coming back now. The ship has sailed. We stuffed up. It's time to move on from bloody Mick Malthouse. Even I can admit that.Sure, it could be that too.

Totally agreeAfter the damage caused by his petulance, I would never ever be happy to see him back in any sort of official role at Collingwood. I have no problem with him being recognised but that's as far as it goes for me.
Totally agree
Remind me how the former captain white anted Mad Mick. Take it you enjoyed the last model Mick that was at Carlton because that's what we would of had had he stayed with us. You may be a expert in white anting but my memory is the former coach white anted the former captainWell when you get white anted by a former captain and CEO that love nothing more than to shit all over your legacy and say your culture is a problem all day long, yet its clear cut that you are the best option to continue as coach and in the best coaching form of your career, I think I accept his petulance.
In fact, I'm now glad he got on the footy show in 2011 and pleaded for Ed to let him stay as coach. It shows he gave a shit about the clubs continued success. Unlike the current board, former CEO and the coach, I don't give two shits if the coach treats the media nice or sprays ********s like Milne after he calls him an old ****.
Rat pack culture is winning culture. And I'll take it all freaking day over what we've had since 2012.
I hope MM enjoyed every moment of being a guest of the president and making the last game Pert had before is resignation as uncomfortable for him as possible. Ed, Greg Swan and MM built the club from nothing. Pert came on and maximised profits but ultimately failed to realise Collingwood deserves the best in every position. Nothing should be gifted to your mates
Consider that copied for future pastingMy gut tells me no.
If you ask me to write a reasonable and rationale comment on why not, I can't.
I just don't want him back.
Note. If he does come back and plays an influential role in us becoming a better team then I will deny I was ever against the decision.
Leave the comedy to the comedians - not bad but!If the stars align over the next few weeks the club will have good reason for Bucks to be reappointed.
