I went and had a look at Keilor Pk v Pacco yesterday. Ground very heavy and first half dominated by Pacco, poor effort by KP. PV too quick and moved the ball well, although not much pressure from KP. Most interesting part was the fight in the 3rd quarter.......and a few other fights too!! umpires did well to control the match.
Pacco definitely GF contenders if they can keep everyone on the park.

ANyone know if Haddy got into any fights with Glenroy yesterday! close game.

very good game which was won on the day by a team who looked to want it more, only soured by 3 incidents. 1st was Pierre Haddad being reported for punching the opposition ruckmen in the face, 2nd was no.17 from Glenroy knocking out a Hadfield player with an elbow to the head (not reported just a free kick) and Pierre again knocking out the Hadfield full back after he took a goal saving mark on his knees (again not reported just a 50m penalty for late contact) the first player came back on 20 mins later but full back was unable to retake the field for the majority of the 2nd half.

Some massive results this weekend. Tulla winning and Gleroy winning was huge. Tulla will play finals now and I think Haddy will miss. Westmedows losing also handed Lakers the minor premiers. Great effort by them.

Pierre Haddad wasn't reported. and number 17(Corey Pollard) it wasn't an elbow he just ran through him.

I think Haddy will make it I don't think they will lose another game. While I'm at it Westy won't win another game and may miss out. Here's how I see the ladder at the end, not taking percentage into account.

TL 64 pts
PV 52
Had. 48
Tull. 48
Glen. 44
WM 44
APW 40

if he wasn't reported my mistake, but was standing 1 metre from the incident and was nothing else but an elbow
I wasn't standing far from the ''Incident'' either. And he is not the type of player to go in with elbows so sorry you didn't see him do any such thing including elbows to the head.

Haddy lost to 6th place Glenroy but will deafeat undefeated Lakers and 2nd place Westmeadows at Westmeadows. Love your confidence but I would not tip Haddy in either of those games.

guess we will have to agree to disagree! any comment on the "incident" that saw the Hadfield full back knocked out in the Glenroy goal square?

Bit more than blind faith there Kings Army,Haddy beat tulla by 6gls ,Tulla then beats Westy by 5 gls. Haddy match up well against TL and could have nearly beaten them first time round had we kicked straight in the last qtr.
And as for your reference to ladder positions the way I see it is, that there is very little difference between any of the top 7 teams.

Well I agree with your last statement. 2 teams are going to be very unlucky to miss. I would go so far as to say 2 teams will miss that think they can win the flag this year.
A few teams match up well with Lakers but still no one can beat them.

Lakers lose another player doing his knee at their home ground, I think that is 3 for the season !

Lots of injuries at Lakers - better now than in 3 weeks. Westmeadows should win this weekend. Most players should be back by finals. Having top spot is a big win with a first week bye.

The problem is that the school next door to TLFC actually owns the ground and therefore council or TLFC cant regulate how much use the ground has. The kids are out there on the ground every lunchtime .....every day ....so the ground never has time to recover. Especially after a downpour.
Either the footy club or the cricket club needs to find an aternate venue for 1 season so the ground can be properly prepped and good ground cover can be established.

The ground is a paddock, barely playable and is lucky to get signed off each week, especially the oppositions side of the ground.

something definately needs to be done about this paddock especially as it could quite possibly be an A Grade venue next year!

Greenwood did knee.

Desousa, Bucky and Rizzo out this weekend.

BIG loses those guys, could be the difference over the next month if they are under done.

Im heading to Hadfield this weekend to check out all this hype about No.2 being a thug and Haddy roughing opposition teams up. They should account for Northern saints. Might pop past Westy as well to see match of the round.

I just hope Westy bounce back hard after last weeks game. Played 2 down for the most part, so hopefully we don't have those issues this week.

Think it's a bit unreasonable to suggest that Westy should win this week though - TL have been the standout team this season, and I think this is one game that BOTH teams have been looking forward to.

It will be a good test to see where both teams are at - looking forward to seeing it unfold.
