Couldn't agree with you more Turbo (first time for everything ). The eagles handled the off-season badly failing to reappoint Budgen which led to uncertainty players leaving and eventually a president being let go for mismanagement. This year is a lot tighter and the eagles list is along way from 2016 but you'd hope theyve learnt from the past were they to go the distance.Jacana had a crack last year and good on them. They were talking up there hopes of staying in div1 and not dropping back down. They did have a plan but maybe underestimated div1 footy..
Now I kind of disagree re Craigieburn’s venture up to premier. They had a reasonable good side in 2016 and are in an area which should be playing premier footy. But they lost their way off field.
Surely they were better placed than Glenroy, with the amount of juniors at CB and having consistently had decent 17s and 19s Glenroy are doing better in premier 2018 than Craigieburn did in premier 2017 at this early stage..
However I do agree they have now got back on the right road with their youngsters and will challenge again this season in div1 by the looks. I wonder if there intentions are to try and go back up or stay down and build up another year? Interesting one!
