One of the Roxy players looks set for a big holiday, you can’t go threatening the umpires after you get a red card. Actually delayed the umpires returning after half time. Not good.

1 Red, my understanding is he will be up on a Strike charge & then 2 other charges relating to the threats towards the umpires.

Both sides had 1 Blue each I think. It all happened at the same time. But def only the 1 player reported from Roxy.

Who was the player smurf? Did someone from the club step in and resolve it and in particular assist the umpires. Yes umpires are not perfect as per players, but the umpires must be respected and protected. This is the reason we have trouble getting umpires and why the umpiring standard is not as good in the lower levels and juniors as umpires don’t want to put up with this type of behaviour.

This is not acceptable at any level especially senior footy. I’m sure if found guilty the club will also receive a sanction/reprimanded by the league and any further issues could spell trouble for Roxy..

It doesn’t matter anymore as AFL VIC give the players permission to keep playing if they get to 16 games , and some clubs entertain putting up with clowns that have reach 16 or above. Incredibly you can be a President even if you have passed the 16.
I was of the belief you actually weren’t allowed to go on the ground under those circumstances. Disgraceful.

I agree that’s a disgrace. Are you referring to anyone??
 
East Keilor playing at max 47 points. West Coburg playing at 25 points. Great effort by WC to get close and it’s great to see a club playing at such low points and being competitive..

Craigieburn stepping up and are clear favourites. And playing at 32 points has them in a great position if they do win it.

The EDFL board allowed a player to resume playing this year after he exceeded 16 weeks. Some may say they deserve a 2nd chance. This fine upstanding person after realising he will be deregistered tried to kick in the door and attack volunteer EDFL staff.police and security involved.
Thank God the socialist, public servant EDFL board members have such a good understanding of community sport. Who is held responsible when he re- offends?

Not sure Craigieburn are clear favourites they only beat Hillside today. I think Westmeadows and Tullamarine are just as good and Limbach leaving will dent Craigieburns chances

I totally agree with you. But isn’t a club responsible in some way? Who is watching him and if his reported someone should be close by at all times and the player should NEVER get close to officials Clubs should be held accountable in some way!!
It’s the difference between c grade footy and b grade footy that you can’t get away with poor on field behaviour.

By the looks of the results they gave them an old fashion touch up on the scoreboard. They have a younger list than the other 2 sides you mentioned in the hunt.

Watched the game today. God help any team playing Craigieburn at windy hill or coburg if that’s where The finals are played. Quick all over the park .

How will it hurt? He hasn’t played all year
Bellino stepped up and between chircop Davies and Gordon they have 45 goals playing mid/fwd
Also Shannon Smith has a few as well!
Seems to be working without him in my eyes

CB had a stinker down at EK last week against a side that played very well and looked out to prove a point yesterday. To good all over the ground. Backs were great Micallef did a great job on Coletta who had no impact, Fynch good as always and i really liked Browning in the backline. Eagles mids taught HS a lesson, Davies Gordon Boyall in particular were dominant despite Raynor probably getting the better of Morrison. There best is as good as anyones. Still missing a good half a dozen very handy players the eagles who will be welcomed back in coming weeks

I noticed favourite son corey viani played his 2nd game in reserves returning from injury yesterday kicked 2 and was best on. Surely we will see him play senior footy next week

I couldn’t name him, but he was reported on 3 charges so it will be easy to find out I guess.

Yeah there teams manager as well as representatives from Tulla has to talk to the umpires but it was a substantial delay restarting after HT.

The game did boil over a little and get a bit physical but the umpires didn’t do an awful job by any means.

2 young guys who don’t deserve that crap!

Hope they throw the book at him.
