Eagles side looks to be almost on par with the ine that took them to premier. Big lance doing a great job early
Hard one to judge but with no outs from this years list and the inclusions so far, they are looking very strong
Looking at the recruits it’s clear that lance has targeted midfielders , I reckon limbach will be rubbing his hands together with the quality midfield that is on paper ,
A young midfield to... Makes the likes of Gordon Mcerlain and Bonghettis life a lot easier.. They will benefit with the lighter work load..
Young will be a great get if he can stay fit..

I heard that Firefighting wouldn't allow him the freedom to play or coach? Is it just a few games, or maybe his commitments have changed

Playing only and with his recent firefighter role I’m not sure if he will even play every week....
Speaking of Westy Coaching I heard that Grant Smith isn’t actually the senior coach for 2019, is that right?

Half of them are spuds and will play 2nds at East Keilor, they will lose local talent and then all the DP recruits will leave.

I wouldn’t go that far outback but we will be up there for the fight for the flag.. Along with a few sides who have recruited well..

Could not agree more outback. EK may go ok next year could even play finals, but longer term bringing in that many new players at once with no loyalty or ties to that club whatsoever will burn them badly. They will all leave again one day and potentially in the meantime you will lose lots of guys that have been around the place for a long time. Just my opinion but have seen it happen plenty over the years.
Spot on. The coach and the reserve players he is bringing across will be surprised with the standard of Div 1. EK weren't that far off the pace in the couple of games I saw them play this season just needed to keep some of their more experienced recruits on the park.

It’s started already. Matt Knight off to Rupertswood. Gleeson already gone. I’m hearing off a few more looking at options.

Who won't get any opportunities as they have recruited 25 players
B Grade football club looking for a quick fix , thought they would've learnt their lesson from last season.. Fact is they have some $$ in the bank after a great financial result last year, but their decisions on how it's being spent now is appalling. They are paying way overs for the boys from NFL, ridiculous $$, and before anyone questions my knowledge on that , I got it straight from the horses mouth along with their comment - "It was just too good to refuse"
I'm sure the committee and all the volunteers are working hard like every other club, so best wishes to them.
