There are 3 certainties in life, Death / taxes and westy can’t beat Tulla.

Went to the local rivalry Westmeadows vs Tullamarine game yesterday and as Footyman said there is no bigger certainty each season except that Westy will lose to Tulla. I don't think anyone on here would be able to remember the last 3 wins Westy has had over them.

Was a close game on the scoreboard and if it weren't for Robbie Castello (who is an absolute star) Tulla would've won by a lot more. If Westy are not paying him much for games, then this week they should go around to all these other players they are and get them to donate $50-$100 from there pay packets to him as some of them did not fire a shot yesterday.

Dion Hill (1point) played a huge game and is also well clear on top of the div. goal scorers beyond half way point!!!! I will say no more.

I'd prefer to have a player that gets a kick against the other good sides and helps the team win those games, than beat up on the bottom sides.

Next Week Tulla vs Craigieburn should be a great game. Winner of this should be outright flag favourite.

I guess that’s the problem between us. We have different views on how footy should be played. You appear to be a person who wants to win at ALL costs. I’m not that way inclined.

Hence why me and you continue to argue over EK playing above the points limits. It’s the reason I’m so annoyed by it all as are plenty of others.

Your way of thinking at the young junior levels is the reason so many kids don’t continue playing footy and why the better players think they are better than others but when competing against the elite players they ultimately fail and can’t cope.

Anyway we are different minded people you and I.

PS: I don’t have anything personal against your FF but just like to see players who demand good coin preform against better teams.

Who cares who leads the goalkicking as the division has dropped significantly from past years and once again I say it’s been compromised.

Turbs you have me confused with someone else. We have never disagreed over EK. I agree if they played over the points then they should be punished. The EDFL whacked EDS for playing a 19 year old the was given the wrong points in one game, which EDS lost, yet they allowed EK to win with a number of players that were given the wrong points.
Yes we disagree over junior players. The players themselves want to win no matter what age they are. My point is that it is up to the coaches to teach them how to win with humility. Be gracious in defeat and humble in victory. So it is up to the club's to keep the coaches in line.

Castello will win comp medal by length of Flemington straight. One of the best recruits into this division for years..

Let’s all touch base after finals and see how many the Hill kicks. This will show what his made off. If he kicks 4 or more in a final against Tulla or CB I will offer an apology and consider closing my big footy account for minimum of 12 months.

I was going to say more than 4 goals but will allow 4. Surely that’s within the big units range..

I have watched 9 games this season and this division is a very good standard.

Maybe 4 games. Just not interested unless I wish to sink cans all days.

How do EK beat TL by 32 points playing within the 47 points yet beat TL round 1 by 135 points playing over the 47 points (played at 50 points)

So it’s a 100 point difference. EDFL wake up now and see that you have Stu@@@@ this division by allowing the victories to stand..

I wasn’t there but my info is that the leading goal kicker was shut down by an U19 player who’s doing solid things down back for Tullamarine. Nothing to do with Clare or Church. Anyone who saw the game first hand feel free to correct me!

Still going .....really.... do you know anything...there’s this thing that sports teams and sports people have called FORM sometimes they’re in good form sometimes in bad form .TL maybe were in good form last Saturday and we haven’t been in our best form. Richmond lost to st kiida by 68 points FORM SLUMP, then went on to win the flag. Geelong lost to port Adelaide in the home and away season 2007 yet beat them in the GF by 119pts in good FORM that day
I think Greenvale went undefeated 1 season and lost the Grand final
EK list to Roxy in a final by 12 goals and then beat them in the GF
..... FORM .
We beat CB , were up by 10goals at one stage , good FORM,probably come up against them at their ground , if they’re in good FORM at that stage and we’re not they’ll beat us ... FORM. Sometimes some teams are just better than others .
