You must be a comedian because you say some funny things. 1) meese would dominate Stewart if they played on each other. You do realise that Meese dominated the VFL for years and was rucking against AFL players most weeks. 2) Stewart played EDFL when he was young and in his prime and was a solid player but no star. He wouldn’t be in the top 10 players in premier probably struggle to make the top 20. He might be in the top 3 ruckman in premier and that’s about it.

whos too say westy and hillside still paying same amount as last year, as you have stated players are having to rethink what they ask for .One easy way for EK to silence the knockers it to get on the front foot and open up the books to the league and then this should silence some of the doubters .I know about the old brown paper bags after the game but from my point of view cheating the salary cap would make for a very hollow premiership knowing you have cheated the system . Money does not create a culture and a club that fosters loyalty and mateship

Now your comparing Stewart playing WRFL against Deluca playing EDFL. I will say Deluca spends majority of time playing ruck and very rarely plays or rests forward. Whereas didn’t Stewart have another ruckman at DP. Greensbough and remember Kelm played at DP also.

I’m going to do something on here that is uncommon and apologise. I am apologising for the disrespect I may have caused for what I intended to be a tongue in cheek comment (that is an honest reflection). It has been been made clear that this has offended people at the said football club, for that I am deeply sorry. I was trying to lighten up the mood, however this has obviously backfired.
BTW I did have a constructive chat with said coach from Div 1 club mentioned.

As for my identity, I am not disagreeing, which is a far cry from others on here...ohh and also I am not vying for the top job. I continue like many others on here to be interested in what it takes to build a list.

Was I hiding behind the face of anonymity, perhaps yes..but aiming for some comedic output( enter an epic fail emoji).

I've long maintained and this is supported by BigFooty, that everyone has a right to anonymity no matter what and those who choose to "out" people will usually get a week off from the forum. Some posters do make it obvious who they are or have been around long enough for them to be well known around the local footy scene but they still have a right not to be named if they so desire.

Nobody has the right to come on here and claim you might be this or that person. It's even sticked in a thread at the top of the forum. Once again, I remind people to keep to themselves who they think a poster may or may not be unless you get that posters permission first.

this is a forum and l have not been on it long but l will say is that l do have involvement with a club but thats my business. I have enjoyed interaction with others due to not working since March but this website should be an enjoyable experience. Exactly right. Me and Uptherox are a great example that you can mend a broken relationship. Roxy Park had pictures of me posted around with a reward at one point. But now we are all fine.. Well I think we are.

I was only joking about the posters mate. I know your one of the good guys who has tried to turn things around for a number of years. It’s tough I know. I think Roxy have had some pretty good senior coaches but think this one might be leading the way in things outside the General Saturday stuff. He appears from afar to be spreading a great message far and wide at your club along with your captain. Not sure it’s totally there as yet but definitely improved. But hey who am I to the club? I’m sure we can say the same about a number of clubs I guess but clubs need strong volunteers to set the tone off field to make every venue welcoming to all teams and all ages. I guess my memory goes back many years as it’s difficult to forget some things.
As I’ve stated many times with great people in charge things can change quickly and as your stated it’s a tough area for AFL competing against soccer. Where is AFL Victoria in all this. They need to do much more. Always remember Eddie McGuire going out there early days but not much since. One of my best mates also played at Roxy many years ago now..
