Initially they left to go to Tulla for the $$ rather than stay and push there claim for a position. However I can see both sides and they might have felt a bit disgruntled so left to play regular senior footy at the next level down. However my point is Tulla known to poach players and offer them decent $$ to come over. Yes that’s common I know, but the statement is trying to allude that Tulla pay a low budget and a number of players play for nothing. Just a ridiculous comment which was sure to get a “slap” on this big footy forum..

Now I would rather go back to sparring with the EK folk on here if I may.

I’m pretty sure a sparring session is when 2 people go at it. In the case of the players mentioned there was no point in competing with that huge offer. HS appear to have recovered and got a few with premier exposure which is beneficial to a young growing list. It’s highly possible 1 of the 2 could return mid season you just never know..

Curious to know what clubs are charging for memberships ?

My club is $400 for seniors and $290 for under 18

Heard Jacana were doing a flat $100, obviously trying to rebuild

Westmeadows I'm hearing is $900 seniors and $800 under 18 which seems to be extremely high. Is this the case or is my mail wrong?

TH your mail is 100% correct never heard anything like it in Div 1, I wonder how the families who have multiple memberships to pay feel?? Also what do you get for your $800 and $900??

Absolutely agree with the talent and would be way too good for div2 but how many clubs is that now? And can’t forget about the old man

I dont know how a contracted player can leave mid season Turbo... wont be happening.. Hillside have done well though to try fill the void however still dont think they will be competitive this year. Maybe mid table (Just my honest opinion).

Turbo which players have HS got with Premier exposure ? Kerbertiah a very good player but comes with a hefty price tag and won’t add anything to culture. Trembearth is handy too, but not going to elevate HS into finals. Coletta and Victor very big outs to a team that finished outside the finals.

is there others that haven’t been announced yet ? Scales from Craigieburn is fringe senior player, and other bloke from Riddell was up and down Seniors/Reserves.

Tulla were renown for offering good coin to premier league players that were on the fringe between seniors & reserves..You best remember that Turbo never forgets..

he is a sensational player very draftable as a kid but didn’t get past the interviews, club hopper already
tulla wouldn’t have a player on there list who is there due to being the highest bidder

IMO Coletta is the only loss and hard to replace a key fwd.. micallef on the other hand is a mid, easily replaced. Yes he was captain...but not a great leader.

Yeah they will be hoping to improve and hopefully make finals. Unfortunately most div1 clubs think EK will buy the premiership and clubs look to build towards 2021. But will EK be within the cap the EDFL are watching them closely I believe.. interesting times ahead

EK had a few dragging the chain in the finals IMO, he will add a very different dynamic to midfield. If EK can balance the points and keep them all happy they should win the comp with a leg in the air. No one defending that forward line!!

I don’t think it will work and can see some players dropping there heads and becoming frustrated. Let’s see how it plays out.

Point is they arguably have 6 of the top 10 forwards in the division now.. Cant see a team be able to man up all 6 forwards. Think about how much trouble teams had manning up the big 3 of West meadows last year when they were all firing. EK have Hill, Bongetti, Klixx, Colleta, Grabowski x2 ... Not being biased but that is an insane forward line if they all gel will be interesting to see.

Looks good but lets not get carried away. Its only November who knows what other teams will do! Im also hoping for a lean and fit Jye King in 2020 there is upside in the team with him

Agreed he will only get better with a bit of weight off.

Apologies by League i meant div 1 surely you didn't think i meant premier also lol take it easy mate.... but yes i believe they have 6 out of the top 10 best forwards in Div 1. Like i said not being Bias im just stating what i think dude.

By all means if you can name the top 10 forwards in the league and dont have those 6 in there id love to see your list.
