St.Albans have two grounds. Kings Park Reserve (where the pokies are) and Errington Reserve. Historically Errington is where junior matches are played and it has recently been redeveloped…so no problem if playing at Kings Park on a Sunday is an issue.
P.S. Now you’re informed
Don’t have an issue with people in the pokies area as it’s seperate and at the back end of the social rooms. They won’t have the main social rooms “bar” open I imagine. But once again I say Kyte and his league staff allow it to occur with some clubs without penalty so it sets a bad example. What I witnessed in 2021 was a complete embrassment.

Gee thanks TeeJay. We all know that. We also know that St Albans do play junior games at Kings Park. That’s a fact. So unless they have agreed to play all junior games at their second best amenity they will be breaking the rules.
Whilst we are at it, have any of the board been out to Deer Park to inspect the pig sty rooms that the board expect their existing clubs juniors to change in.
Just disgraceful.
Worse than West Coburg?

Worse than Oak Park?

So by the sound of it, Deer Parks rooms will fit right in!! happy to have them come across, one year in Div 1 (maybe!!) and then lets see how they go in Prem
the away rooms at abers are a disgrace ,any cub with some sort of self respect would do something about it ,but it is abers we are talking about LOL

If you already knew St.Albans has a second ground away from pokies / alcohol than you would know that it won’t be an issue if playing at Kings Park isn’t allowed on Sundays.
Errington has recently had a million dollar redevelopment and is probably the better of the two grounds for junior matches.

Another Western Suburbs shithole.

Who's next? Bellino? Gorgievski? Fynch giving it away? What is happening down there....

It's kind of a win/loss story really. On one hand, you've got clubs actively taking their best youngsters, but the club is also losing those youngsters at the same time. Perone leaving probably isn't surprising, but jesus it hurts at the same time. The bloke has stuck through good and bad times and is the ultimate club man. Hard to replace blokes like that.

A huge, huge challenge for the new President and committee who also (maybe) lose one of the hardest-working people down there.

I think they'll (obviously) be in everyone's bottom 2 come prediction time, but there's also plenty of time to recruit too. If Carlisle plays that should help at least.

And it's not just losing the President, his wife who also did a load of work too......

Fair point you make about moving on, however the current CEO, Chairman and his Board who are all still in power today, made these decisions.

With recent clubs included, a minimum of 50 new umpires will be required, that's not counting EDFL women's and girls football annual expansion.
While I am at it mens football seems to get all the publicity, how did Gisborne and Sunbury Lions women's teams both sneak into the EDFL recently?
sunbury lions been in since edfl womens football started and the first year it was run in conjunction with the wrfl two of the teams were deer park and st albans
