Given the rhetoric on display here, you'd think that regions encompassing the 'Essendon District', were at the top end of the market..
And that’s the exact reason why we should not be travelling to Deer Park , St Albans , Sunbury etc etc etc because they don’t encompass the Essendon District.
The beauty of our local footy comp has been betrayed , and lost its appeal because of people who believe bigger is better.
Oh well if the clubs are gunna cop it and do nothing then it’s their problem in the future.
A presidents job is to protect their club , not sit and do nothing when decisions are made that directly affect and problem their club.
Oh well. Cop it I suppose.

St. Albans and Deer Park in div 1 next year clubs have until 17 November to appeal the decision.

Appeal appeal appeal
Put them into Premier where they should be for the integrity of the competition.
But unless there is an overhaul of the board quickly, SFA will change.

APPEAL WHAT? Are these the same presidents that were going to forfeit games against EK a few years ago because they recruited top players and were scared against playing against EK and ended up losing to Craigieburn in the G/F?
Accept the fact that they are in and the focus should be "What/How is YOUR club going to beat them on the day". The same can be said about KP & Glenroy entering this division - They are trying to improve their list so they can be competitive. This division is a lot closer than many may think and is only a 2 or 3 player difference from making or missing finals.

KP & Glenroy will be battling it out for relegation. But understand your point!

KP picked up a couple, so think they should be ok. They toyed with div3 last year.

Im sure Glenroy will just hang on but no coach is concerning. Have they announced pre season as yet??
league should see the writing on the wall and ask if they want to go to Div 2 - for the good of the club, they re really behind the eight ball..

Unfortunately, I can see more clubs really struggling due to lack of community support and volunteers in the next couple of years.. The Roy's have been around since 1946 , established club but have relied on the same 4 or 5 people to keep them going for too long now. Few more other clubs just hanging on with the same issue, lack of support from volunteers and relying on the same 4 or 5 to keep the doors open..
