Rumours only ..with allegedly a win to rupo with a possible 60 point win attached..surely not.???Anyone else hearing the Rupertswood v St Albans game not going ahead this weekend?
How is that fair? You can't just allocate a 60 point win. Surely just a rubbish rumour. If that's the case do this for their round 11 game as well pleaseRumours only ..with allegedly a win to rupo with a possible 60 point win attached..surely not.???
It would seem like EDFL logicRumours only ..with allegedly a win to rupo with a possible 60 point win attached..surely not.???
IMO any club officials should not be on the ground other than the umpires escorts let the players, umpires and the tribunal sought it out .Just seen the clear footage and that St Albans vice president (if that's who it is) should be banned for life. It's bad enough spectators fighting an opposition player but an appointed club official should be trying to defuse that situation not inflame it. Very poor look for the league and one of their newest clubs. The stance needs to be swift and firm

Would be interesting to know the conditions, if any, that were put to both WRFL clubs upon entry. SA have a great set up but pretty sure they are the only club that has a venue type set up like they have. Is that open during junior games on a Sunday? I would assume so, so wondering if any conditions were attached to the clubs entry.Anyone else hearing the Rupertswood v St Albans game not going ahead this weekend?
No St Albans juniors only play at Delahey Reserve since entering the EDFL.Would be interesting to know the conditions, if any, that were put to both WRFL clubs upon entry. Escorted 5 metres to the social club I’m sure they would all go into the social rooms post game or are you saying the players all went home? Let’s be fair dinkum here police were there to stop it escalating and HS players and officials could leave the rooms safely.I spoke to a member of the force who confirmed both teams were escorted from rooms as report of Hillside making calls to wait for players after the situation...pays to be a bystander
Oh ok, Interesting. No St Albans juniors only play at Delahey Reserve since entering the EDFL.
There will be footage of the incident on CH 9 news tonight. Not good for the EDFL.

6.8 Where there is a forfeit in a senior match during the home and away season, the percentage of the Team who did not forfeit the Match shall be adjusted by crediting and debiting that Team with the average number of points for the Home and Away Matches that were scored for and against the Team who did forfeit the Match.
The percentage of the Team who did forfeit the Match shall be adjusted by crediting and debiting that Team with the average number of points for the Home and Away Matches that were scored for and against the Team who did not forfeit the Match. If for any reason this method of calculating scores is not possible, the winning team (forfeit for) shall receive the average winning score from all winning teams in that round in that competition, and the losing team (forfeit against) shall receive the average losing score from all losing teams in that round in that competition.
If for any reason this method of calculating scores is not possible, the previous round shall be used to calculate scores/percentage. This rule does not apply to any junior competitions (up to and including Under 16s).
I just saw it on the news

So the only team that would benefit from all this would be Rupertswood? This has to be garbage. Or every team they haven't played yet, should get the same outcome. If it happens and it's a huge if, it would be like they defaulted. The opposing team should be rightly rewarded in that case. 60 points seems fair to me.
I posted the by-laws in regards to a forfeit which must be very much on the cards. Same would apply to whoever they were playing. So the only team that would benefit from all this would be Rupertswood? This has to be garbage. Or every team they haven't played yet, should get the same outcome.
Is that the SA Vice President who punches him twice in the ribs from behind whilst he was on the ground being attacked and again on the fence snipes him from behind and is restrained by a person in a SA jacket. If true totally disgusting and cowardly behaviour from their second in charge. He must condone and encourage that behaviour instead of trying to defuse the situation and allow the player to go into the changerooms.Just seen the clear footage and that St Albans vice president (if that's who it is) should be banned for life. Agreed. Why would the club playing them the next week get the benefit? Does not seem right and could be the difference between finals and no finals. Let's just wait for the league to put out a statement before we get too carried awaySo the only team that would benefit from all this would be Rupertswood? This has to be garbage. Looks like it throwing them like a little scared kid from behind to the point he went past the player then decided it was a good idea to cheap shot twice while on ground in saying that I don’t think it would have hurt a flyIs that the SA Vice President who punches him twice in the ribs from behind whilst he was on the ground being attacked and again on the fence snipes him from behind and is restrained by a person in a SA jacket. Great work by the HS umpire escort and the security guard. I think it was just lucky the police rolled up very quickly!
**** him weak as piss sniper ban him for lifeLooks like it throwing them like a little scared kid from behind to the point he went past the player then decided it was a good idea to cheap shot twice while on ground in saying that I don’t think it would have hurt a fly
100%!! should be band for life and anyone see him at a game should call the cops. Just thugs going along to local footy seeking this sh$t out.* him weak as piss sniper ban him for life
Watched that footage and the alleged VP slings the HS player to the ground from behind while the player is being confronted by 4-5 SA spectators then proceeds to punch the player 2-3 times in the ribs (from behind). Appears to have minimal impact on the player who is more concerned with defending himself against unsolicited attack from other spectators in front of him.Looks like it throwing them like a little scared kid from behind to the point he went past the player then decided it was a good idea to cheap shot twice while on ground in saying that I don’t think it would have hurt a fly

If you look at the intent and his actions, though, the alleged SA Vice President is surely not fit for any official position in a footy club. If the EDFL were serious he (and others) would be banned from attending any EDFL footy for life.
The vision is damning and irredeemable.
