agree committee should stand down, is getting a bit stale at the top they are looking after the wrong people, far i know, grant, keenan and stojanovski are stepping down anyway, don't know about the others, they also lost good junior parents and players as well eg junior co-ordinator who was a fantastic assess to the club and other long term volunteers, players have been getting paid but only half of match game payments and owe a sh it load to the edfl from last season as well, yes Mo was owed a lot of money and they never attempted to pay him, but they did pay a lot other people to help around the club even to pick up rubbish,
its all well and good asking for the committee to stand down, which they should but where is the next committee coming from talking to some westy folk on the weekend there is not a whole lot of capable people standing in a queue to take over . Remember no president or committee then no club some serious soul searching ahead for the westy faithful

MO did a runner ? Mo was offerered a job at VFL level ,what coach in his right mind would turn this down . Westy took the quickest ,easiest and cheapest way out by appointing Flavel to the main role they should have appointed a interim coach and gone out to market to see who was around even at that late stage of the season
Everyone is quick to blame the coach but have some of the highest earning players had a good hard look at themselves?

Lot of footy clubs in similar positions

People running them for years end up burnt out

New people take over and it can go downhill

Seen it first hand recently

Also it’s bloody hard job being president there’s always people sooking about something can’t please all the people all the time

Good luck to the next committee at westy, sounds like the car park trash talkers will never be happy but won’t put their hats in the ring..

Come on the umpires where off the ground by then. They left one of their own on the ground.

A trainer was seen telling mums to stay off the ground but Jeff was on there trying to take control . Him and Glen the only two seeing sense trying to claim it down.
I don't know about you champ but from what I remember, officials aren't allowed to touch the players. What did you want them to do? Boys will be boys, sounds like no one was injured and the game went on.. Good old Tulla West rivalry, about time the clubs showed some fight..

Work colleague/ son plays at Deer Park. Hearing ex WCFC Lynden Dunn 1/2 weeks off returning from ACL and joining ex teammate Levi Greenwood at Deer Park , must of had a falling out at new club up East. Interesting as they usually play around the 45/46 point mark and will he qualify for finals? Watch this space I would say

Has he been cleared to Deer Park already....if not then he cannot play this season

Was talking to a bloke at work whose nephew plays for the club in the 2s. Apparently Lynden was seen at training last Tuesday and chatting to head coach and pres.

On the clearance page on edfl site it says Dunn cleared from west Coburg to a southern football league team nothing about a clearance to deer park

Probably being used to coach against West coburg..as he did play there..

The question remains will Scotland coach Deer Park next whether they win the big one or not?

Keen for your thoughts on run home..

Run home looking non eventful for WC and DP that have wrapped up top 2 spots.
Be hard for Rupo and SA drop out of finals based on their run home.
Would suggest only position 5 up for grab between HS, Roxy, MV and CB though think HS will fall in but pos 5 will go to wire.

West Coburg
Deer Park
Rupertswood
St Albans
Hillside

Roxburgh Park
Craigieburn
Moonee Valley
Keilor Park
Tullamarine
Westmeadows
Glenroy
I still think Roxy can make it, but they must win their next 3 games and gain some percentage.

Tips this weekend:

West Coburg by 96 over Tullamarine
Keilor Park by 12 over Hillside
Ruperstwood by 24 over Moonee Valley
Deer Park by 162 over Westmeadows
Roxburgh Park by 12 over Craigieburn
Saint Albans by 84 over Glenroy

Geez Deer Park full 46/46 points, have 7 players over 3 points, must be worried about Westmeadows....:)

and on the flip side West Coburg have rest big guns last week and even more this week...
