The connection to Talbot is BA Roads, DC has gotten close to him and bleeding his company for cash. They put a lot into Tulla the last 2 years. Hind is connected to BA Roads as an employee, so it does sort of make sense. Long would be mad not to follow if he’s on the same salary he was this season!

When was DC brought up in Melton Sth ? I remember him being a Strathmore junior, before carving out a solid reserves career at Mores/Tulla.

Not a fan of the higher ranked teams in these games? Dont think you’ve tipped HS agains WC, Marby and SA. Haven’t lost to SA this year and beaten WC on their home deck. I guess everyone loves an underdogs story.

Those tips were for round 1 of finals and both were the higher ranked team. This week I've stuck with the higher ranked team too.

He won’t give a toss about Tulla and will contact every player he wants to take, he also generally recruits really good players well past their prime on overs. He was only president for half a season, until he decided he wanted to coach again and appointed himself.
Tulla have been announcing a few signings and so far it’s 2 regular senior players recommitted, and the rest 2’s players. He has left the place in a mess and they will do well to stay up next season.

Have Tullamarine announced the next coach? I know someone who interviewed at Tulla with a great resume and missed out.

So in the 18.5 Douttas straight through to the GF. I predicted this in the early rounds of the season. What an embarrassment for the league. Why should div1 clubs have to play against premier league clubs??? Whoever made this call should immediately be stood down from the league..

West Coburg were 1.12 early on and finished with 5.20..
Wasn’t there so no idea how much influence the wind had on the all points kicked

Understand that mate but surely even you would say why is a side like douttas got 18.5 is the lower division?? They wonder why players leave and there seniors are what they are over recent years. That’s not development, nor a good junior program mate.

Was a really good contest of 18’s footy, Douttas did enough just enough, but they will need to play better to win it. Moonee Valley has some very talented young players, one key fwd who is still under 16’s was very impressive, big future. Another under 16 played in the midfield more than held his own. The standard was far inferior to a premier game though.

Stuck around for the senior game as well and although a very scrappy affair in the conditions, it was fiercely contested with plenty of spite. West Coburg kicking 0.12 in the first effectively cost them the game. Pretty tight after that but it felt like WC were chasing the game after 1/4 time. Some more easy shots missed in the 3rd quarter was salt in the wound. Marby very fit, rotated heavily and ran the game out a lot stronger.

Should be a cracking GF if West Coburg are good enough to get in next week.
