Top 1 or 2: West Coburg or Hillside
Top 3 to 5: Oak Park, Craigieburn & St Albans
Top 6 to 8: Avondale Heights, Tullamarine & Taylors Lakes
Bottom 2: Moonee Valley & Roxburgh Park

Not seeing a team that stands out like we’ve had with Deer Park and Marby Park in the past

Hey Auck, why are you and others predicting Hillside to be top? Just wondering on reasons as they haven’t recruited anyone of note as of yet.. They require a key defender or someone who can patrol the defensive 6. Plus probably a big bodied mid with previous AFL/VFL experience.
They have enough pace though the middle and enough forward of the ball especially with Covelli.
It’s a gee up

A poster asked for ladder predictions so I gave one.

Multiple year finalists, 4 points off top spot in 2024 and only lost 3 games. Why wouldn't you think they were a chance to finish top?

Failed in finals again which may suggest a mental weakness, but for mine they look like a side who "could" finish top, while ultimately failing to win promotion.

West Coburg
St Albans
Hillside
Oak Park
Craigieburn

Avondale
Tulla
Taylors Lakes
Moonee Vally
Roxy

Going to be a great season.

I predict the team who finishes top (my prediction WC) will loose 4 games at a minimum.
No easy games this year , teams will lose to the “bottom sides” whoever gets relegated will be a decent side , big year for the division.

Hillside
StAlbans

B Grader , likes to be a big fish in a little pond.
No association with the bloke
But maybe enjoys playing with his mates at his home club and in this modern age not a bad thing

On a different subject
How does we think this division compares with other b grade divisions across metro Melbourne
From what I watched last gear
Well above wrfl, similar to nfl but no where near ammos

Imo EDFL as a whole league is better than WRFL & NFNL. Not sure on the VAFA I’ve never watched a game.

Has had plenty of offers to move from Roxy but remains loyal. Clearly an A grader who deserves a huge wrap at a time when player loyalty is coming in to question.
