Maybe they could call Div 2, The RDFL division as 4 of the 9 clubs are Ex RDFL. :D :p
Or just call it what is it .... Division 3
Premier Division give us a spell, it’s local footy :D:p

And FWIW even with 3-4 ex RDFL clubs there now, suggests to me who’s willing to grow and or expand .... and who isn’t :think::'(

Fawkner amateurs merged with Moomba Park to create Fawkner Park who then merged with north coburg saints to create northern saints. So no Nth Fawkner involved in any of the merges

At the End of the day who cares ,they are all Playing in Division 2 EDFL in 2019

$600 is $300 more than anyone should be getting paid to play C Grade footy

$500 actually

All div 3 or whatever you want to call them should be stripped back to bare bones money

Stops “heroes” chasing coin and playing far inferior footy to what they can. If they want to play that level do it for free if not go and have a crack

Probably why coburg districts can’t win a flag, no culture with the money they throw around

Ladder Prediction 2019:

1 - Sunbury Kangaroos - The side of 2018 would have struggled to make top 4 in 2018 in EDFL Div 2, but they have good top end talent and will recruit for this division.
2 - East Sunbury - Am hearing they have resigned most of their 2018 side and have some handy players training with them at the moment
3 - Moonee Valley - Always a strong side and will be bitter with last years finish. Expect Carroll to recruit a few through his extensive contacts
4 - Jacana - A Div 1 side always comes and competes. The recruitment of Cam Cloke will bring the excitement they need, but loss of a few important players will be costly.
5 - Coburg Districts - Will need a major revamp on last years side. Club keeps on spending money on the wrong players. Think Lucin is past his best and would be better offering his coin to a young Div 1 gun
6 - Northern Saints - The real wildcard side... After the way last season finished, I can see an exodus of players. Maybe the new coach might attract some Premier players?
7 - Burnside Heights - There abouts again. Have again recruited a lot and will be competitive but lack the star players.
8 - Hadfield - Can't see them improving on last season to be honest
9 - Keilor Park - Will be lucky to field a side

Hadfield with one of the biggest signings in this division ex afl/vfl player and return of premiership captain might improve them a bit you would think

i agree mate they will improve massively this year.

What’s happening down at jacana land?
Iam hearing the players are unhappy with the return of cam Cloke

From what I have heard and seen as I’ve snuck down to a few of the training sessions it’s totally the opposite. The guys that have left so for have left for money and money only.
Looking at them going through their paces the new coach is bringing a big buzz back to the club.
