I think you'll find if he makes the final 12, he'll miss afew games of footy. All depends how far he gets. Last time the final 3 didn't start playing local footy till like May
I think you'll find that even if it was filmed early in the season. He'll be back to local footy with his tail between his legs.

I know I'm taking on the Craigieburn clan again but did hear from a very good source that Kite got a 7k sign from Craigieburn for agreeing to sign for 2 years. Now that's ridiculous!! Yes agree his a very talented player but he has never played premier level (or equivalent) so is he possibly just a player who likes the lower level footy at local??

Played div2 footy for 1 year and absolutely smashed it. Was supposed to go on the recruit this year but they put it on hold and now his on it. Almost went on and won the wrfl div1 best in comp untill he got injured in his final year at deer park in arguably the best local team going around at the time so you would back him in to go close to the end I rekon

I wouldn't say they are the best team going around. Would the beat Abers, Balwyn, st Bernard's, Greenvale, just to name a few. They beat up on teams that play in the WRFL. Which got flogged by the edfl.
His a good player but might find it harder up against players of Maric, Blackwell, Ross, lynch, patak, Brewer

I agree with your thoughts on Deer Park as Abers & Balwyn the best 2 metro teams by a mile and then Greensbough.
Syhlo can compete with premier midfielders don't worry about that. Agree that Blackwell, Ross & Maric should have him covered, but he will still compete well and who knows. Let's remember he has a good body shape and is very fit.

I did expect a reply mate. I won't get into a slanging match but even you would know Kite would have got some enticement to sign.
On Bugden he probably needs to win the premiership next season to hold his job wouldn't you agree, so let's wait and see. As I said many times you guys are best placed out of the div1 sides to have a crack at premier in 2017.

Maybe not this year but back in 2014 when he did play at Deer Park, correct me if I am wrong but pretty such they touched up Strathmore who went on to win it in a praccy. I know it is just a praccy and obviously both sides wouldnt be at full strength but it says something

Deer Park lost 4 games last year in the worst local comp in Metro. They would atruggle to make top 4 in EDFL Premier.. A team full of 30+ yo ex AFL players would simply be too slow for most of the premier teams and they woukd lose by 10 goals+ to Abers

Following on from AGM,apparently president has 40,000 reasons why he is has got everyone at his beck and call now! Not a very healthy way to start a new regime off
All big losses coxy and Thomas will be hard to replace shame to see them go. Would have thought them to regularly play so must be decent coin on offer
All of the Wallan bound boys left knowing senior opportunities would be limited for them at Craigieburn next year. But no doubt its a blow for depth at the eagles
2014 u18 premiership side all senior player no bad depth to pick from.
