Out of curiosity, who are the blokes heading to Wallan?
Nolan is going there to coach, so calling him soft is a low act. MacKertich, Cox, Thomas and Stewart are the others, although Stewart is training at Coburg.

Out of curiosity, who are the blokes heading to Wallan?
Hope this worked lads. Surely will create some good conversation! Agree with Mel and Knowitall what on earth is going on at EDFL HQ. EVEN Div 1 up like Premier and give Div 2 the byes. No disrespect to Div 2 teams.
I wouldn't have thought u played the game before and potting blokes that r leaving the club it's not potting it's telling the truth wouldn't have got a game this year and if the club is going to play premier that wouldn't get a game then and u said r we looking at the future or just next year and as I said we will keeping playing our kids and keep on recruiting what we need so I am sure the club is looking at the future and blokes like u will always be jealous
It certainly is mate but what would us old timers know! If the EDFL could take just 1 piece of advice and that is make Div 1 an even amount of teams. They must have a very good reason for having an odd number or they are completely stupidCheers mate. That's a crap draw.
Thanks mate!Nolan is going there to coach, so calling him soft is a low act. MacKertich, Cox, Thomas and Stewart are the others, although Stewart is training at Coburg.
Shannon Broadbent reuniting with Cam Trewin?
Shagga a great pick up for Westy Puff but would have come at a hefty price tag but CBurn still clear favourites just with the pure fire power up front Westy will still be there when the whips r cracking though. Will be a very competitive Div 1 againFinally DC gets Shan across to play under him. Huge pickup for Westi and they'd have to be equal favourites now wouldn't they?
Recruited all the missing pieces from this year and to land a midfielder of Shagga's ilk is icing on the cake!
Craigieburn stayed in premier for 8 years turbo thats how much you know. Im sure the likes of your mob pacco, plus abers and a few other massive spending clubs would be a little bit more of a concern regarding salary cap than what craigieburn would be mate.Looks like your the one being made to look silly by reading some replies to your ordinary post. Calling players soft and now saying bad things about another club. What do you know about Wallan anyhow? Country club doing there best in difficult times..
I'm not jealous of your team pal. Couldn't give a rats. Just remember the last time you went up to the top grade, you only lasted a year as didn't have a good plan.
Getting back to my original post you do know the league has been in regular contact with certain clubs (including Craigieburn) regarding the points system and upcoming salary caps. Clubs are also working with the league, so get with it.. Even premier clubs need to work to 250k (I think) in 2017.
Craigieburn have always spent huge amount of money on players. Just like Abers did from 2005-2010 they have spent it on the wrong players. Abers have got the act together. Time will tell in craigieburn will do the same.Craigieburn stayed in premier for 8 years turbo thats how much you know. Theres only been the one time they went up that was after winning b grade in 2005 and staying in A grade until 2012. Whitnall never coached the club. I think they are rightly favourite next year but im tipping some big challengers in Westy, Oakers in particular. Also think Glenroy and Tulla be there abouts. Not invloved as heavily as i once was but i believe there home ground is still Ds aitken with 2-3 games per year played at highgate also. Id be pretty surprised if there is another club in Craigieburn anytime soon mateHey Bissa, They didn't stay up long the last time they went up when Whitnall was coaching and you had Christou playing I'm sure but to be honest I wasn't taking a lot of notice of Craigieburn then other than they always had money but had trouble attracting players.
Anyway I do agree premier clubs, like most of the bigger metro clubs, will need to get working on their list management for 2017 and onwards.
Anyway Bissa, do you expect Craigieburn to go one better in 2016? Surely they will be "hot" favourites.
Are you guys back on your original ground or going back to highgate?
Is there plans for another club in the Craigieburn area which will take over at Highgate?
thinking that they might have a team out of mt Ridley they could use highgate. Not sure how many more years craigieburn will be at highgate. Did hear they just got 1.1million from hume council to upgrade there rooms. So I'm guessing they will stay there. So that frees up highgate for another team around the mt Ridley areaTheres only been the one time they went up that was after winning b grade in 2005 and staying in A grade until 2012. Is it possible that they'll just leave Highgate to the Cannons?I'm

I read in the Bendigo advertiser that broadbent had signed at kangaroo flatFinally DC gets Shan across to play under him. Huge pickup for Westi and they'd have to be equal favourites now wouldn't they?

Shannon has played for roughly 5 or 6 different clubs over the last 5 or 6 years, 2 times at tatura, 2 times at deer park, albion in there for a year or two. He does well, regular sign on free of 5$k plus, usually around 1$k+ per game BUT puts on and earns it and they keep coming back flor himI read in the Bendigo advertiser that broadbent had signed at kangaroo flat

I see his collected another sign on before jumping, like he did at myrtleford the year prior, this bloke is taking the piss, dead set mercenary.
Goes pretty well Kick It.... Very quick on the lead nice hands and kicks well. Massive big pack marks like Cam Cloke, Kite etc probably not his go but handy when he has space to work into. kicked 28 for Lakes in 2015. Is he leaving Lakes Kick It?Can Anyone on this thread advise how does Bekim Memedi go from Taylors Lakes.
Position he plays etc:
We are talking to him, I cant say where as yet but my understanding is he wants play Premier/Division 1 footy, my club played in a Prelim final and we need a forward to add depth and more goals to get to the GF hopefully in 2016.Goes pretty well Kick It.... I'll be honest and say he will struggle in premier division in edfl. He doesn't have a very good defensive side to his game. Handy divy 1 player but in my opinion would struggle playing in a higher division. Don't know much about him before Taylor's lakes. So from what I've seen last couple years he would struggle playing a higher grade. But that's understandable if the blokes 40+. But I think it's a different guy but I could be wrongNot talking about butsa memedi are we?? Bloke was an absolute wrfl superstar back in his day has kicked over 1000 goals but must be 40+ now
Agree Knowitall not a Premier player and no he wouldnt be 40 yo different fella i suspectDon't know much about him before Taylor's lakes. well here we go another keyboard hero!! Lets believe everything we see on bigfooty shall we. I love how you assume there is a sign on and I've taken it and just left a footy club?? You wouldnt know me or anything that goes on like half the peanuts on this. Taking the piss am I?? Very easy to pot blokes and put up bullshit from behind a computer like many on here do. Probably never played footy before or if you have you were no good!! Lets have a go at blokes because they can earn some money for something they enjoy and are good at. So go back to your computer desk and keep putting shit up about me and other blokes couldnt give a shit if that makes you happy mate. Here is a tip more importantly get a life. Fyi You are more than welcome to get on the highway and come watch me play next year. I'd be more than happy to shout you a beer and pay your entry fee for you all courtesy of my sign on!!I read in the Bendigo advertiser that broadbent had signed at kangaroo flat
