I didnt think Windside had 31 goals in them are they a threat or just a flash in the pan. Did anyone see the OP Tulla game? Scores indicate a rippa game. Lakes a great win over Roys Roys surely favorites in that game

Tulla was by far the better side OP got 3 goals in junk time of 4th which flattered the scoreboard,in saying that there was some crucial moments during the game that OP could of mounted a serious challenge but they didn't capitalize and they did lose 2 players pre game

Interesting to see if cam cloke can kick a ton in regular season. Needs 28 in 3 games against glenroy lakes and westy one would think barring injury he will kick it in finals if not home amd away

I was involved with Fawkner and Moomba. Good blokes. The blokes from BOPS I've met, good blokes. The people that are still at the club don't see themselves from where they came from, but where they are going and who they are now. Northern Saints! I couldn't give a crap about the former clubs, that was yesteryear. No one is saying don't get involved, in fact they have been encouraged to get back to the club if they wish. Generations change, it's those that buy into the future that seem to be most durable and loyal, despite where they come from or whetever personal petty beefs they have. The club is thriving on miminal cash, I wish I could afford to give more. It's a great place to be at the moment, better than other clubs my other relo's are involved in, my opinion anyway. Yeah, they aren't thinking A Grade, but being a good damn club and seeing if they can develop some decent footballers. It's a good club, and it hasn't taken cash to make it so. Wish the council would listen to their ideas a bit more! I'm proud of the club and what they have achieved this year! Club success in some circles is not measured by wins and premierships but by the place it is or striving to become, and if anyone disagrees the club has not made significant changes, then they don't know what they are talking about and are definitely not around the place in any way! Go Saints...

Great post here mate
I myself plaid juniors at Moomba park then the merger with Fawkner Amos which became Fawkner park played there for about 17years
Daniel foley I played all my juniors with will be a great coach for the club and I know for a fact is trying to get some players still playing to come back to mutton reserves.... All my footy childhood memories are from mutton as my uncles all played for the Amos from when I was born....

For Craigieburn current u18's Reichelt has played most games this year. Tabacco and Zwagerman have been playing recently as injuries mount. Have many 19-20 yr olds playing from the u18's premiership side of a couple years back. Perrone, Micaleff, Langbourne, Laffan.

And was great to see Tye Browning from the 16s play his first senior game for CB on the weekend.. He's going to be a superstar

Yeah, I hear ya...if all the sons of former players that graced mutton reserve in the past and played for Moomba at the other ground who are actually playing today, the team would be strong enough to be a top 4 Premier team. Be great if those players could make this way back. Real good feel at the club at the moment despite zero wins. Hopefully you and your kin can make it back one day soon.

I believe a famous name down there was terry young his 2 sons play at CB I find it very unlikely that the likes of J.Young would head down to possibly play Div 2 unless they offer a truckload of money.

Read somewhere the Crazyburn coached said C.Cloke should still be playing AFL.

Give us all a spell Champ , the bloke has been playing 2nd Divison Local Footy for the past 5 years(and before any of you get on here, yes the NFL is EDFL B Grade standard). Money hungry Spud
I hope CBurn go up to A Grade next season, let's see how far $350k get them with the Big Boys!!!!!!!!!!

You sound a bit jealous that his not playing for you're team and that you don't have the money to compete with a top side like craigieburn? Which is pretty much every side in the competition

NFL first division is the same as B grade EDFL what are you smoking as for C.Cloke the coach did not say that or any such thing to the reporter.

From my recollection and I could be wrong, Young left Avondale to get away from the then coach, Saad Ghazi. He and several other players that left Avondale at the same time were all going to go to the same club but didn't work out and all went their separate ways. I can't imagine that CB would be giving him a pay cheque much larger than what he was receiving at Avondale. Yet, he didn't return to the premier club even though the coaching staff has changed. I can only suspect that CB was chosen due to the likelihood of winning a premiership because regardless of the grade, who doesn't want to win a flag?

Anyone know how much longer he is out for with the broken bone?
I remember seeing someone have him as their favourite to take out the comp BnF, is being out hurting his chances of taking out the honour?

I think not 100% sure he may live in Cburn mate making it an easier decision to play closer to home. He is a gun but yes missing a number of weeks will just bring him back to the field. Hope he wins it but he has a couple of team mates like Page who will be right up there.

He's hoping to be back by round 17-18

Yes he does live in Craigieburn. He grew up in CB along with his brother & cousins. They all wanted to play together at the same club so they decided to play at CB
