Agree Mel unfortunately they are coming back to one of the most even and competitive divisions in the metro area as we all witnessed last year. Apart from CB the rest could be a raffle.
Hey Aussie what makes u think windside will challenge CB? What about Lakes, Tulla mate?
Outback, I think Glenroy & Windside will be big danger games for Crazyburn. Im not saying they will beat them, but both sides are very young and quick. Also they have both recruited very well from what im hearing. Crazyburn will be the team to beat for sure, but they only have to lose 1 of the clokes due to injury or suspension, or one of there other guns and its game on IMO.

Maybe i could manage to break the record of goals kicked on me in a game lol

My record for most goals kicked on in a season in A grade reserves will never be beaten. Still upset the fans didn't run on the ground when I had my hundredth goal kicked on me :(

Can't see Allouche and Abdullah going back in hurry, they love it at Westmeadows and we love having them there.

Fair enough... I know abdullah really well but both great people billy allouche was one of the genuinely nicest kids when he was under 18's good manners good footballer respectful really hope he comes home at some stage

Totally agree Aussie a healthy CB is a frightening prospect but a couple of injuries to key players can upset the apple cart. If Fletcher and Cam Cloke were fully fit and playing for the 2015 granny who knows what could have happened but hey thats history now and thats footy... Cant wait for the season to start

Craigieburn won't win. Too slow!

They will go close to being undefeated.
They will win all home games and away games at Glenroy, Hadfield, Taylors Lakes and northern saints. Because of the small grounds.

But when they are exposed to the big grounds of greenvale/ coburg city oval and then the wide expansions of windy hill they won't go the journey.
Tipping westy or oak park if they have obviously improved like people say

Tend to agree, although still think the fire power they've brought might over come that. Should lose Vendramini and his pace for most of the year at the Cannons and the loss of the other 5 is huge and will hurt.

Westy the big danger. They'll be keen to put this seasons disappointments behind them plus they possess genuine pace.

Oak Park and Tullamarine next in line, with
Glenroy the dark horse.

Eagles should win, but a Westmeadows Premiership in all 3 grades wouldn't surprise either.

I think it's one thing to have young 18 yr old speed. But you need some experienced players in that 21-25 age bracket that have experience senior footy to take you to the next level!

Some great points there cranium. CB have recruited well again and i agree their pure fire power "should" see them prevail. What i saw of Westy last year was pretty good they move the ball quickly and with precision. My only concern with Westy was their final couple of games of 2015. The final round against Windside they had to win to make finals. Windside released all of their kids back to 18's and Westy were down with 1 minute to go and pinched the game. Then a finals series best they just forget. Shaggy coming in will help clearly but it is all about finals footy and who can win the big games. Pressure does strange things to players and coaches

The eagles have great depth...but all good blokes so hard to see them leave. Any other departures around the comp?

Craigieburn will be hard to beat. Forward line of Cloke x 2, Kite, Robinson, Fletcher and Courouzou. Midfield of Bongetti, Tucky, Young, Page, Short, Heenan, Mackerlain. Backline of Fynch, Louzou, Terzievski etc. Sounds like a great team on paper.

Who can challenge?

Hey Warna, is Bongetti ex Greensbough who played in the country this season?

Carnt play this guy u have got no idea Eagles have a list of young players who have plenty of speed that's why thay won the flag in 2014 and runners up in 2015 all players now in for senior selection?

C.Cloke - CB, goal kicking. Not convinced on Winter, had an ordinary 2015 and is getting older
Broadbent - WM, comp medal. Proven A grader, always polls well.
CB V WM - GF
Premier, on paper CB but I think WM will be a lot closer than many think. Broadbent will be massive for them, best mid in comp and have recruited a lot of big guys also up forward and ruckman also back from OS.

Like others have said, Glenroy and Hillside to be the big improvers. Concerned about Lakes, have heard they are a fair bit in debt. Tulla have heard nothing, so who knows. OP will improve back lack of key fwds and backs is a worry.

Can't argue with any of that.
