Just got confirmation he has gone back to Hillside. Great get.. His a smaller player so it's hard to get opportunities at the higher level, but believe he left Coburg as wanted to play with his mates. Might challenge Broadbent for that comp medal.

Will be full of running I would think. Good for the comp.

Watched craigieburn beat whittlesea by 10 points today. Eagles had a few notable exclusions in cam cloke fletcher Bennett Davies as I am sure whittlesea did. Game was of a high standard with quick ball movement kite starred with 5 goals leaving the ground with calf soreness at 3 qtr time

Really good game of footy to watch for a feb practice game. Eagles looked good with plenty of quality missing, jason cloke and kite both kicked bags. Good to have footy back

The midfield brigade for CB was on show led by Gordon and Young. Harley short and mcerlain also played major roles along with a few youngsters. Page was also at his usual best.

Just a question guys. Has Page ever played top level footy or prefers div2 level? I think his a very good player and would be well suited in premier or div1 footy. Out of interest, whats the reason he plays div2 standard?

PS: I'm trying to keep my comments based on top tier metro = div1 / second tier metro = div2

Also I'm not in favour of our div2 level of footy being called div1 and so forth.
I also don't like the div1 name changed to premier unless it's across all leagues! And even then div2 should still be div2..just premier = div1.
What's your thoughts??

I'm guessing all you followers of this division like it but in all honesty it's misleading..

Yeah mate he has. Had a successful stint at Northcote Park in the NFL. Also very dominant in A grade. Page and Heenan are a pair that play together.

Thanks Warna, how old is he and did he play at Yarraville Eagles a few years back think prior to going to Whittlesea.

My view on footy is a good quality ruckman should play premier/div1, and div2 is more for young upcoming rucks (to learn there trade) and guys maybe slowing down a touch. I think in premier/div1 a ruckman is almost the most important player. Anyway it's great for Craigieburn..

Played Div 1 NFL with Whittlesea and Northcote Park also making NFL Div 1 and 2 teams of the year likes playing with mates and under Bugden and co

IMO crazy then daylight to westy and roys, I think tulla and OP will be fairly stagnant without to much improvement in lists, Roys the sharp improvers but still behind westy, think the roys will have more firepower up forward than westy but the tigs will still have stronger mids, relegation coin toss between lakes,haddy,NS as i don't see to many wins for these 3 apart from when they play eachother will make these massive games, going to be great division!

Think lakes and the saints will be a bit in front of haddy seeing how many premiership players they have lost

This year with the inclusions of Broadbent to westy and jacko to hillside the engine rooms at each club seem to be getting better and better it sets the scene for this year to be real competitive in the midfield. IMO 6 teams have a real chance of makin the finals with CB to be minor premiers

Premieres : Cragieburn - they seem to have added the right players to there already strong list . With some quality players who people don't no much about in 2 time Comp medalist Ryan bongetti and small forward Glenn Roberson. The forward line of Cloke Cloke kite and fletcher is sure to leave a few headaches for any opposition coach

Had a very young list last year an at times took it up to most sides loosing a few games by under 3 goals. those kids will be better off after another pre season they have gone out an added a ruckman a key forward another mid-fielder and a defender to add to there already strong back line from all reports terra has them training hard an has no limitations on what the group can achieve . I'm tipping them to finish from anywhere between 2nd 5th

Yes the way to beat them is to spoil, and play FAST rebound footy. Have a good ruckman to compete with Page, and have some physicality around the stoppages. It's Craigieburns to lose..

Watching glenroy vs APW. Got here at quarter time and APW played all over them in 2nd quarter. 5 goals to 1 with the aid of breeze. Glenroy looked slow and with enough pressure applied turned the ball over in back 50 numerous times. Not sure who's missing from both sides but cupido kicked 2-3 that quarter. Winter not playing for roys

What number was Walker?? Also Glenroy must had good first and last quarter cause the 2 and 1/2 quarters I watched it was APW by 2-3 goals
also I thought APW ruckman was very dominate against both strachan and gillilands.
