Plenty jumping off of the Jacana bus

Surely the jump up in standard isn't so bad that guys won't challenge themselves? Seems to happen every year in this comp
I am sure they have been trying to recruit hard. I am sure it isn't easy going up in standard and trying to compete with clubs used to paying out over $130k and you are only used to around $70 to 90k.

Complete silence are they the only side not mentioning any recruits? I think we have heard from all Div 1 clubs with ins and outs. They will need to recruit heavily to win a flag given APW, Tulla, EK have all improved there lists from last year. Given Tullas recent influx sharks wont make the 4 unless they grab a few quality players in. The only thing i have heard they have re signed there whole list apart from someone who retired.
Page is a huge loss for CB too by the way a wonderful player for CB over the past 3 years

Heard a few things at the nags yesterday,

Tyson Young is off to VFL next year, heard he was training at one of the VFL clubs. Also looks like Rex Taylor and Jonathan Mullins are off to Moonee Valley along with Cory McGrath while Ricky McVeigh has retired.

Hynninen returning to Tullamarine from Lancefield, with Col Laurie also a chance to return now.

Hynninen is return as assistant coach only not playing just coaching.
Lots of plays train at VFL clubs this time of year but there are around 40-60 players training for 30-35 spots

Only watched Young play a couple of times throughout the year.....was staining his white shorts in both the Prelim & GF

Well he did win the league medal at 19 so not a bad effort from the young lad. And if he did get a bit nervous at 19 playing his first finals series in seniors is that really something to pot him for? He is 6’4 and 90kg, will only get better as he matures.

need to recruit to be competitive in B Grade, and have to get there under 19s back up for 2018 season
Can't see that happening when most of the top age boys will be needed for firsts and reserves if they haven't recruited.

Was talking to someone that has signed at craigieburn for next year and if true big Lance and craigieburn are holding there cards close to there chest this year and have a few aces up the sleeve,

They will have a fair bit of coin to throw around after losing Kite, Young and Page .
Have a really good group of young guys still there .
Lance getting paid the big bucks to recruit, so you would think they will be in the mix again with everyone else.
