Billy im pretty sure he kicked 5 or 6 for glenroy in a losing grand final to northern saints after doing his hammy the week before.
I think he kicked the first and pulled his hammy in an over the top celebration and didn't have any further part in the game

I love your devotion to your club but honestly half of these blokes are 2s players. Compare this list to the list Tulla lost and then compare where they finished on the ladder. Some of the blokes on this list nobody outside of Glenroy have ever heard of. I will give u Campbell, woodhouse and Dennis. But come on man in your honest opinion do u really think Big Red has done a good job????
You wrote, and i quote: They played in the 2013 GF and haven't made finals the last 2 years, tell me one player who retired???

Well that list played in the Grand Final in 2013.
I think Whitnall has done a fantastic job with what he had to work with IMO.
They are a very young side and he kept giving the kids a go.
Its obvious that your not to fond of Glenroy or Whitnall, just have to look through your posts.
With all these silly comments you make anyone would think your a school teacher or something!
Either that or Glenroy upset you in the past some way?

I just cant see how one finals appearance in 7 years in a 9 team comp is acceptable. But obviously people like you do, maybe that is y they fought to avoid relegation all year. Different mentality to the successful clubs. But hey at least u have good rooms.

Gee the Roys have really upset you havent they Junky? hahahaha Hows your club going this season champ? hahaaha

Has he played a senior game at all this season??

If not surely couldn't be selected

Played in first final for first game this year ! Played that old fashioned role , umm body guard I think they call it .
Very surprised that Nolan can't get a look in , very cleaver and in pressure games could snag you a goal or 2 to be the difference !

Hey 1061 there are pros and cons, perhaps a team like Nothern wouldn't benefit as they may prefer to head back down and build for a couple/few years. If they lost a few from this year then another year in Premier could be demoralising!

This year sorted Northern out, last year they were extremely "physical" in games so won an acceptable amount to see the club win some respect but the physical nature of the game plan needed to be reigned in. This was done by asking certain players to leave and the resulting lack of any success was the result, it was probably reigned in too hard.

But I'm talking about any Club that moves up a division.

Well, I had a sneak peak last night into the Eagles Nest, Fletcher was flying and so to Young.
For what I saw, BOG Young, C. Cloke 6 & Bugden has proven he is Coach of the year, from
bottom last season to Grand finalist this season in the same competition, EDS came down from Prem Division,
started favorites. EAGLES for me.:footy::thumbsu:

Looking forward to Sunday's GF.
Douttas would be going in as firm favourites and rightly so. They were 50+ points up against craigieburn when they lost in their first encounter and have since beaten them twice comfortably.
Shylo Smith I think is clearly the best player in the competition and their running game will suit them against the bigger Craigieburn bodies at Windy Hill. Douttas are well coached and play attacking football driving it through the middle and quickly into their forward line.
The Clokes have worked valiantly all year but if they are to beat Douttas they need other avenues to goal. Fletcher needs a big one and from the outside looking in it would be a brave decision to omit Nolan from the side - he is another avenue to goal that would get the fourth best defender at best.
Bugden and CB will not leave any stone unturned and would have learnt from their last encounter.
Last time they played Kite was far too agile and CB will need to play him from in front or have another defender helping out to cut off his quick leads.
Should be a cracker.
For me Douttas by 30 pts.
Shylo best on ground.

Just watched the edfl tv preview for this weeks game, not sure about you guys but thought the lack of discussion on this comp was pretty average. I can cop the premier league being more important but we were an after thought next to div 2
